Sadly Adam Pearson has been in touch and I am heading over to Ull to run their comp' on a big ££££ contract.

Thanks KC, really enjoyed it and am sure to be back after a good pre season evaluating other teams squads, ready to kick on and get into the 8.

That's strange, as I hear they've got their eye on 6 targets to run their predictions comp next season and will be hiring a top London legal team to resolve issues around visa, contract buy-outs etc.

Thanks KC. Mid table mediocrity for me although I did take a few for the team at the end and I'm forecasting a Leeds win on Saturday in the hope of being wrong yet again.

Myself and the other six are on a job share, and what with Ull now being the Chelsea of RL and operating a RU type salary cap; we all fit in comfortably.
Adam (as I now call him) has even mentioned he may yet recruit more!!!
When they want shut, I'll just come back here (to some real consern by many Wakefield fans!!) and prove once and for all that my reputation is firmly intact and them cod heads no nowt!!!

Mark tragically died while helping a lady that had broken down on the M1 last year at junction 39.
I knew Mark through his son that played with my lad at Stanley and it was a shock to hear of his passing.

The Club is also sending the donating too, many thanks to Andrew and James and Stanley Ranger U14s too has sent a donation

what was i supposed to do with the shirt?.... i had just thrown my darts away so couldnt use it for target practice

, i never check my oil on the car so it was no good for wiping the dip stick on

its not been mentioned on here as yet but I like to thank both T'dreadnowts are cumin and CheshireCat in donating the prize of the season ticket to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance fund raising that my workmate is helping with.
It was mentioned to me the other day and I managed to pick them up today,

Martin is quite taken back by the response and would like to thank all for the donations made.

As Snowie has quite rightly said, both Cheshire and T'drednowt have come to a gentleman's agreement and shaken hands on a draw. The prize of the ST has therefore been donated as a gift to do as we see fit.
As ever Snowie is always helping someone, so the ST and the Signed Shirt that AG number 9 won in the Cup competition and the wager between AG number 9 and Snowie have all gone to worthy causes.
Take a bow gentlemen.

A heads up for next years competition.
It is more than likely (due to work commitments) that i will be unable to run the prediction league next year.
The latter half of this year has been a real struggle to keep on top of things.
I would be gutted if this meant that the league had to stop, firstly its a real good laugh and shows us exactly what we really know (or don't know!!) and secondly the money raised is so greatly appreciated by those in receipt.
If anyone is interested in taking over the mantle, i will of course give you all the support i can.
Realistically the person needs to understand a basic spreadsheet, and have about two to three hours a week spare.
I used to do it in works time



however the spare time i had has diminished quite a bit, and "hopefully" i will have less spare time in the coming year.
I'd like to say its been really enjoyable running the league for the last two seasons, i've met some really decent folk (and snowie and big al!!) and got a really nice "ready brek glow" when handing cheques over to families such as that of Leon Purdy's.
It is a very rewarding job for many reasons.
Anyway have a think about it and if you fancy a chat and a beer or a pot of Yorkshire Tea about it, please get in touch.

I too can give that little help if anyone is interested in doing it.

I think we have now been doing predictions league for the last five years and helped many cause's and I'm sure we can find someone to take over, its not too hard once you have mastered the spreadsheet
