Tim certainly looks like he's never been away and has had a real positive effect on the whole team, even Danny Washbrook looks ok now!

The whole team look invigorated since he who must not be named departed. The difference in defensive attitude is staggering. Webster has had everything for him but he's made a cracking start. Beat Widnes then we can start planning for next year.

How many times did the sky commentary team mention that leads had players missing from the team yet never mentioned once as far as I can see that Wakefield had Anderson, Lauitiiti, Collis, Sammut, Walshaw, Annakin and Kirmond missing

We are lucky that the club did not listen to our forum experts because all three try scorers would have been shipped out many months ago but I am sure their selective amnesia will kick in.

The comment about Raleigh was true he did give a few penalties away in a short space of time but they key was that he got it under control and did some big tackles on Peacock to rock them back when they started on a role.

Some great play. Smith was outstanding again and Mathers and Sykes latch on to him very well.

Something was obviously not right when Agar was in charge. Tonight's team looked like a completely different animal compared to what we were seeing over a month ago. Tim Smith has obviously made a big difference but Mathers is like a new man, Godinet and McShane are buzzing, Scruton is throwing his weight about, Sykes is all over in attack and defence and the team as a whole are tackling like men possessed. Webster has certainly brought something new to the table.

Helps that mathers is at fb and not lost on the wing!
