Think they are obliged to show each team so many times a season, which is why you get the "lower" teams on so often early in the season, particularly on Saturdays. It gets them out of the way when there isn't much up for grabs. They kill two birds with one stone next weekend.

The two competition points are important for the season and maintaining attendance figures/income.

However, what I would also like to see is some proactivity on the crowd management. Don't wait for the RFL's report. Salford won't come in the numbers of Cas, so it is a good time to start to get our own house in order. A zero tolerance of drunken and unacceptable behaviour. A response by both the stewards and the (silent) majority of fans.
