I totally agree; I worked in the mining industry in the 1970's and 1980's; I even worked at Newmarket pit for a short time helping out with some problem they had but I had totally forgotten where that pit was. There must have been 20 pits in the Wakefield area in the 1970's but, the Mining Museum at Caphouse apart, there is little evidence that any of them existed. In fact most are totally obliterated from the landscape. I think we should correct that in our own way

KOP end , been mentioned I know but it would be great. It would also be great to have a club song that gets sang before every home game ala Liverpool "you will never walk alone"

It helps when there are 40K+ signing along with it, the songs and chants at Wakefield (barring a brief moment when the team were under the cosh late on against Bradford) often come from small pockets of the support and often are disjointed.

I always though we could adapt the Hi Ho Silver Lining tune, Wolverhampton Wonderers supporters replace ‘silver lining’ with their name. Wakey Trinity could fit into this, it’s nice and simple and can be quite rousing.

It does yeah, but once in a new ground under cover it would be great, it would be like an away games every week

Everyone in a certain area (behind sticks or down side) and it would sound great. Sod the southstand at Leeds.

My chioice would be:


"a unique Wakefield Trinity Identity"


which will help carry the name of Wakefield Trinity through the next 100+ years; in the same way Belle Vue has for the last 100+ years.

but honestly think the shared ground makes sense if you take out the emotion of the sets of fans

What with this ground not being owned by us, the chances of us being able to name things I would have thought would be quite remote, especially if we are joint tennents with the other lot, I aren't standing in the ron Gibbs stand and I don't think they'll be keen to get a pint in the Paul mallinder suite!!!

Hi Ho Silver Lining would be brilliant, I have a real pasison for Wakey and also for making an atmosphere

I reckon most people would agree Hi Ho Sliver lining is the song we shud have as club song
