Max has proved he is the best full back we have in our squad. Please leave him there, rather than turn him into something else.

I would stick with tonight's combination of full back and half backs for the rest of the season to build up some understanding between them and stop tinkering.

For me that cut out pass from Max to TJ showed their understanding from their early days together in the academy.
We need to build on it from now.

You've had lots of players missing because of covid, and injuries also. Added to the fact that you couldn't get relegated, it was all a little bizarre/OTT. But having said that if you start next season, like the last 10 weeks have been, then a change of coach will probably happen. Anyway, good luck for the rest of this one....

Am I right in thinking all the players we ad out on the park were hear last year.Think that proves the cash on players was wasted this year Hope Jowitts performance as given him the number one shirt for next year

Agree about Max at fb, great tackle on Woods in corner at start of 2nd half and thought Miller had his best game for ages - 2 assists

Still not convinced by Hampshire in halves, his kicking game was poor tonight & rescued twice by Reece but that can wait for another day while I enjoy this winning feeling and sweeter beer

Going back to April 2019 we have managed a grand total of 10 Superleague wins and 4 of those have been against Huddersfield. This amuses me a lot.

Joke of a decision by Kendall to go against the on - field call, any other team he wouldn't have ruled it out. Thank goodness for TJ's winner. A fully deserved victory and well done everyone for a solid 80 minute performance. My M O M went to Max Jowett, surely he should stay and hold down the full back berth permanently now, for me he can always find TJ with those cut out passes if given some space.

I would like to pay a special thanks to my ex next door neighbour Jeremy Cross for the motivation.

A couple of comments about keeping the same team but it's bound to change drastically for the next game just because of the turn around time.

I am pleased we won but sorry based on the last two seasons rather than one game I don’t think Chester is the right man for the job. I regret that waiting for next season will be too late or do you consider the victory tonight eradicates the losses and the manor of these defeats and all is now well.
I don’t need to come up with anything better that is up to Chester, but I do admire your selective memory.

Certainly did upset some so called fans . Surely those who have been hypocritical should give some credit for all concerned for the grit and determination shown tonight.
I accept that one win is , under normal circumstances, is not to be excessively celebrated, but it was not normal circumstances.
The team got behind the coach, played for the coach and won.

After that performance from max at fullback I honestly can’t see anyone taking the jersey off him ,looked comfortable and has much more time to read the game than in the half’s ,and it showed tonight with a great performance chiming into the line and giving quality cut out passes . Best image of night for me was when miller threw himself at that big winger and came up with the ball and ended up another Johnstone try.it went up to the big screen and the slow mo of it captured Crowther’s face beaming and jumping about like a giddy kipper as if they’d won the lottery ,that for me summed up the desire and will to get this win by the team .
