We shouldn’t be in the position where we are hoping to win most of our last matches.
I agree there should have been a change in coach and some new thinking weeks ago.
But - some of the players need to take some blame as well . There have been some shocking, amateurish performances by some players who don’t seem up to it.

So looking back over the seasons fixtures it looks like 22 although I’ve had to go on memory once I got past 20.

Bearing in mind the last game there came down to golden point we should have targeted this as a possible win. Cas losing at half-time should have been a major talking point and inspired them to come out fighting. To come back having not even scored a point is just typical Trin. Applegarth has to go.

Didn't bother keeping track of the scores in the second half in the hope of the players turning it around. How entirely predictable that we were worse.

He really needs to go, picking the same failing combinations week after week. My coaching knowledge of RL is zilch, yet I can see when something isn't working. When there has been an enforced change, we've looked better, Lino is the common denominator, yet I fear he is undropable.

Who would take over? Long? Well, our attack has been awful since he's been incitu, how about Powell for a four game blast?

The attitude of the directors, coaches and players of this club to the paying Trinity fans is downright disgraceful. When we think of the great players that have represented Wakefield Trinity, the current incumbents should hang their heads in shame. Perhaps a fans' revolt is called for! After 67 years of support perhaps the time has come to say goodbye.

They are ruthless in the NRL and with South Sydney looking like they may miss the playoffs JD may be available for next season. I hope not but if they feel expectations have not been met then who knows.

I don’t think JD will want to go from potential NRL play offs to a mid table Championship team that in danger of dropping to League 1

Well, in just the one game tonight we were scoreless in two halves, the first half and the second half.
Worst Trinity attacking side in our history i would think.

I have just watched the trys and I noticed that A Fifita is doing some on field game duties.

There was a very different feel tonight imo . yes we've been rubbish all season apart from the wins, but the players looked dejected and totally miserable even D Fifita . Andrew was out from the beginning helping with the warm up/drills etc . For me its got worse since Longs arrival......are there now too many having an input or are the players just sick of the current regime?? Something was def different ...they def weren't all on the same page...

Keeping to the same script is simply not working. It’s time to change it up in what two games everyone expects us to get hammered.

I genuinely think this will go down to last game of the season but the players must get a grip and come out firing with urgency.

I am really fed up with this. It all starts at the top and the two blokes in charge. They refused to strengthen the squad after we were nearly relegated last season and they have stuck with mash. The writing was on the wall when we played Fev in the pre season friendly. Looking back to that, it's no surprise that our season has come to this.

Too many chiefs at Trinity. Mash, Gale, Long, David Fifita, Andrew Fifita etc. Andrew Fifita should be appointed now with David as assistant. Show Long the door.

The daft thing tonight was that Salford were really poor yet won easily.

Drastic changes to be made to rekindle some spirit in the camp.

Tonight after 60 yrs of watching I just felt really sad, upset at the season we've all endured. If/when our time in SL ended I expected to at least go out with a bang not the whimper we've all be left with .
