So whilst the shortfall in sponsorship has undoubtedly left a hole, the club seem to be making it larger which is rank bad management

We really needed the lotto manager, cas have near on 3k members and we have 779 paid up members. That's one heck of a difference in income already.

What exactly is there to answer; other than speculation?
We are employing players and back room staff rather than when things were bleak in the past when we were getting rid of people.
Like slugger posted I can well imagine that day to day cash flow might well be a problem; I'm sure that is the case at a number of clubs.
Until we are selling STs at a proper price and at a good level and filling the ground that will remain to be the case.
As for who we owe and what we owe, the club are unlikely to make any comment to confirm or deny, if as we hope any money owed is for the right reason I.e the goods or services were poor (macron) and that the club is aware of what they are doing and that is in the overall best interest of the club.
That said if tgings are being run so badly this will be costing AG a small fortune and ultimately if the club goes under (again) he will lose more than anyone so I'm sure he must either have an eye on those (believed) to be performing badly or he's happy.
At the moment all we have is speculation and conjecture which is not unusual on here, and while I don't doubt the validity of some of the posters on this thread until I see us either visibly losing players or some official evidence tgat backs the rumours up, I shan't be panicking any time soon.

You also have to take into account the salary of the lottery manager (where is that being paid from) and the fact that if people aren't being paid when they win you are unlikely to get new members and possibly lose some of those you already have

I think that the lotto could be a success ala cas or even dewsbury. I am arm bet and to be fair would like to see more updates. The lotto manager should have clear goals in order to reach his potential salary. It's previously been run on a shoestring but with the right guy heading it up , it could go very well. I'm prepared to give the bloke a chance to prove him can make a profitable return on the job. As for not paying folk for services supplied, I have heard some horror stories but these have come from individuals who don't see eye to eye with glover.

Its funny you should bring that up, does anyone on here know why we don't seem to have any community staff and whats happened to them.

Didn't we have an award winning community team not so many moons ago? Heard staff were asked to take a huge pay cut a while back. Obviously they'll have gone looking for other jobs

We did and the RFL used it has a benchmark for other clubs, a blueprint for other clubs to work towards.

Don't know for sure i think Sarah is project manager but i could not say what Davides title is.

Didn't the funding come from the RFL & this was slashed after the drop in funding money from the govt. pre Olympics ?

As far as community team I think some have left as funding for their posts has come to an end. Think they were on fixed term contracts paid for by various grants.

Just go on Club website and you can find the names of the Community staff- it's not difficult

In any business - it's not at all uncommon to have several different registered companies.

With regard to the community staff - several did leave when the Sport England money was cut and the grant funding to pay for them was withdrawn.

Good luck with the lottery, but don't let anyone kid you into 'investing' in any sports club. Personally I could think of better things to do with my money if I won it, although I will always watch Trinity as a speccy.

As for heads in sand - its literally not my business how the club is run, my interest stops at being a supporter of the team. Try it, you might find it makes you less bilious.

Can you not see the link between how the club is run and the experience for us as supporters ?

I no first hand that the club doesn't run properly money wise, Iv heard many roomers including that AG is pumping 60k of his own money into the club.

It would be a shame if anything happened to Wakefield Trinity Wildcats, But some big changes need to be made asap. It is obvious Jobs for friends & family at the moment. In my opinion there should be full transparency of running the club.
