You just dont get it m8 do you, they no longer want you in super league as they do us or Batley or Dewsbury, the whole sport is a complete farce. For some reason the 14 super league clubs are put on some kind of a pedestal and that is the bit that annoys me, Ray French in a recent column said it would be impossible for certain team to play in the top flight in the modern era, utter crap. Half dont own there own grounds, most are massively in dept, the crowds are only good at a certain few and if it wasnt for good away support some would be dismal, we are no where near ever beating the Aussies or Kiwis again. Then we come to why some of us are bitter, You and Cas have had over 10 million quid out of the game more than Rovers, not a drop of paint as gone on either of your ramshackled grounds and your team isnt much better, whereas Rovers have built 2 new stands in that time and are soon to revamp our stadium, so where as that money gone? The thanks we got from this was the council gave you both 2 million for your never to be new grounds, so Rovers would of been better just spending nothing on the ground and spending it on over-rated Aussies, bitter and twisted you bet obsessed with Wakey no, growing up in the 70s and 80s they were a nothing team and nowhere near Rovers i reckon in a few more years you will be no where near us again

Regarding the Fev fans and Starburger, I get the impression that you have been waiting for this moment a long time, who ever was coming down would of copped your frustration. Of course your bitter I understand that but you don’t have to tell us about the injustices of this system we know how it works and how it will work in the Championship. I’m in absolute fundamental agreement with you on the injustices that the lower league (and us soon) will/are subject to. I have argued over the last 3 years what an injustice the system is on lower leagues, I’m a big lover of the P/R system that got us into the top flight. I clearly remember the events of 95 and never wanted the game to go back to that scenario.

The injustice that the Wakefield fans feel at the moment is of a different nature, it’s about how we are judged against the other present SL application in what is supposed to be a fair system.

Mate i have no dislike for Wakefield, where i live the other side of Ponte its Cas you are socialised into hating and im looking forward to some good games if you do come down. But you are wrong about the different nature of the injustice, it is the same, what used to grate away at me was when there was P+R there was still minimum standards to be met, but those standards were raised higher than for teams in super league, i well remember when Rovers ground got inspected before our semi in 94 at Whitehaven, at least 4 teams in the then super league didnt meet the criteria that they threw at Rovers. Its a joke and a farce why are those 14 top flight clubs put on such a pedestal ?

Bloody hell the flat cappers are getting excited tonight and to say they not obsessed by us they spend alot of time on our forum. Your not the enemy? Times must have changed since the 80s then because there was always crowd trouble between wakey fev. Time have changed now though for the better at Wakefield good family atmosphere. No Wakey agro chants anymore. Hope even fev have moved forward from the 80s and POR is an away fans friendly ground where fans mingle and change ends at half time just like RL should be

So you've come on our forum to say it won't be your cup final like it or not if we go down we will be the biggest team in that division and your biggest match will be against us. That's why there's more fev fans on here than on your own forum you're desperate for us to go down just to make your life abit more exciting again. I've only been watching WTRLFC since 83 so I missed our glory years but we always took alot your I remember 1 boxing day late 80s steve Ella scored and it was mental Trin everywhere that win turned our season around. Never remember fev bringing many to belle Vue but were always good matches. Anyway stop being obsessed and bitter with us you say we are a nothing club but you are always on here. You are correct that if/when you come down , you will become a prize scalp , that is quite obvious , and while I feel for you , I am also happy that a Championship club will get a chance in SL , because if the door was shut , then we really might as well pack in

What you averaging at the mo 1200 1300 and your top of the league our crowds have never been that low but if we are down there in 3 years time with no new ground and no development of the club you could be right our crowds could end up as low as yours

KR is that Knowsley Road of HKR I think there will have been more than 12 fans their. Stop been bitter and obsessed and concentrate on your own club

Around 1700 I'd guess, frustrating because the fan-base is at least 3 times larger than this but they choose to stay away... apathy rules in the Championship.

There's a number of reasons fev fans (and others) are using this forum at the mo.
1. Our team is settled and top so little happening other than normal routine stuff so our forum (Totalrl.com, not this) is compartively quiet.
2. Wakey are the SL club coming down. SL clubs and their fans have, in the main, assumed and "I'm alright jack" attitude to their lowly championship fans/clubs and said fans are having no qualms at pointing that out.
3. Wakey coming down will give us champ clubs an opportunity to stick it to the ex SL club. I accept that I really am looking forrad to that opportunity, but I wouldn't be any less enthusiastic if it was Salford or Crusaders.
4. Champ clubs fans WILL read the optimisin and assumptions from a few wkaey contributors to this forum suggesting that Wakey will go backi into SL and will bellylaugh at that, and will type with speed to point out the experiential flaws in that scenario.
I could go on. But all in all there is plenty of interest in wakey at the mo, not just from Fev, but from all champclubs, but as you're our near neighbours you have to acknowldge some interest!!
