just got back from watching cas panthers vs kippax u11s with the final score been panthers 50 kippax 6..



a bit one sided for my liking but kippax never gave in,the panthers look a very solid unit and were equally impressive in both attack and defence.

stanley under under 11s went down to a tough dewsbury side 8-0 the defences were top noch and the game was level trough out...

cas panthers u9s snatched victory late on to beat a strong heworth team,the panthers were well below par and can count themselves lucky winners scoring twice in the last five minutes after heworth looked to have the game won.

poor heworth seem to keep om just losing by the odd score, kick up the bum for your fellas

oh yes,a few of our players are going to be in for a shock this week in training,we cant keep relying on the same 5-6 players that give their all everyweek while others come off has clean as what they went on the field.

part of me thinks a defeat may be the kick up the backside they needed has they dont know what its like to lose but the other part of me is proud that they showed the guts to win when the game looked lost.

im not even going to argue with you on this,i keep in touch with mutley and snowie for the junior updates and whats going on,sometimes we say things toungue in cheek but they understand how things work at junior level.do you honestly believe id be allowed to coach 20 kids a week at u9s if i was to flog them.

thats inexcusable snowie,to refuse to play without a valid reason just makes a mockery of the game and the time and effort put in by players,coaches and parents who`s children have to miss out.

hopefully your coach will get on to the fixture secratary to see if there is another team at a loose end at the weekend who you could be able to play.

don't think the coach is bothered to be honest, was a bit of bad blood last year by all accounts and have romoured one of the lads and it stops here with me, my lad an I joined with stanley this year so is not aware of the situation, but after the game on sat against dewsbury all comments of the thoughts of the game was left there and all was welcome in the club house, would love to hear from someone from the kippax side to hear there response

a much better team effort from the panthers who went behind early but then defended superbly having got little ball in the game but still ran in 5 tries.
