| I think the club forget the part supporters play, we pay our money but are not entitled to know from the club who is leaving and what if any plans they have. It is appalling that they leave it to the individual player to confirm their departure with silence from the club, no thank you for your service. It took WP to thank Batchelor now I may be wrong but did the club post anything. What will they do with the others wait until the season ends and then announce the full departure list. If I was a player leaving I would announce it myself because the club are leaving it a little late.
With regards the stadium they must feel we are children who do not understand the complexity of the proposed changes to the original structure hence they do not say anything and still haven’t despite we children working it out. I am sorry Vasty but it is not a minor change especially with it impacting the capacity.
The club are just leaving an information void, which will always lead to fears and questions about what we are doing to fill it. I know some of you will not care about any of this but how many will buy season tickets without the void being filled with announcement of signings and not just the usual shirt fillers.

So? Warrington have made a good, proper official announcement before any of the players commented. What didn’t happened is the individual players have had to release it before the club got around to it as is the case here. That for me is pretty poor and a missed opportunity to promote the game on the back of it.

I will not have to say anything if the club ever got their act together. I know you have a low threshold for accepting their actions, unfortunately some of us retain our independence of thought. I see a current club with no communication skills or ability to market games and now proposing to reduce the maximum capacity for the newly developed stadium.
They have always been the same which would be laughable if it was not so important to carry the supporters along with them and it is now growing very tiring.

I'm not sure I've ever seen any independent thought from you.
All you do is contradict anything that is said.
If they retain a player you say they are ignoring the young guys
If they want to retain a young player you moan we are letting established players go.
If they try to make the stadium better quality you say it should be bigger
If the club announce something like TJ you complained they didn't give him chance to say goodbye
When players say goodbye the club should have done it first.
Of course you'll be right on an individual basis eventually but only after the fact. You didn't think of it yourself.

Plus they have announced quite a list of signings before they confirmed the full list of departures.

| I don't feel the need to know every little thing the club is thinking and doing.
Sometimes it would be nice to know more, and I can certainly agree that communication could be much better.
I don't, however, feel like I have an entitlement to know.

If they retain a player you say they are ignoring the young guys - I don’t remember this unless because I don’t know enough about our academy players to have stated this.
If they want to retain a young player you moan we are letting established players go. - this was a suggestion by someone else that we have to let the established players leave to sign the young guns. I don’t agree with this because I do not believe we can replace those leaving with the academy players.
If they try to make the stadium better quality you say it should be bigger - they are improving the stadium to attract new supporters but have now reduced the proposed capacity and the corresponding revenue stream this would generate. They proposed an area for a shop and food to again improve revenue but this is now not going ahead.
If the club announce something like TJ you complained they didn't give him chance to say goodbye - was it the club I thought TJ did it via his Twitter account.
When players say goodbye the club should have done it first.- of course they should after all it costs the club nothing to do.

| Tini's message said this:
"After 7 years at @WTrinityRL tomorrow night will be my last home game!
I'll farewell our fans after the match with the other lads leaving ✌️
I've got nothing but respect for Michael, John and the board for everything they have done for my family and I.
Michael has had my back since I first arrived at the end of 2015 and I'll forever be grateful."
Seems like he's OK with how it's all been done

| Just for reference.
When I said, Young Guns, I meant players like Murphy and Hall. The conversation was about Players being retained so I didn't imagine someone would assume I meant players in academy that haven't signed professional terms.

That’s two players who without doubt need to be signed to longer contracts but I think that losing TJ would cover this don’t you ?

I have looked through the news on the website which includes something from today. I cannot see any mention there regarding the Batchelor, Arona or Fifita departures. I am sure you will be able to point me to where I can find the club’s thanks to these players.

| Willie, on Trinity TV today said he doesn't know all the decisions yet.
Effectively, someone like Milky is under contract till December (I think).
He may have wanted to wait till we know we are safe before deciding what to do.
So nothing to announce.

So if you want to know anything from the club you have to be on Facebook surely they can update the website because that is what most companies do. I suppose we should be glad we are not using linked in.
I guess nothing on Facebook regarding our two most recent departures.

It might as well be posted on the dark web because I can’t access that either or by semaphore from the top of the flats. We have a website that they have updated even yesterday but not with this, I guess you would call it the future but thank you for trying.

| Must admit news from the club is very sporadic to say the least , as people have rightly stated ,not everyone is on all forms of social media and as such is very short sighted by the club to not have their web sight updated regularly. We can have a Muslim charter proclaimed from the rooftop for the as yet to see ,influx of fans from the local community , but we can’t keep the faithful notified , those faithful that have kept this club going may I add over these dark and often depressing years . .

There is no doubt in my mind that MC has lost his drive and wants out. Since the Chester stuff it's obvious that most of his passion was gone and I can understand that. He's been bold and tried to run a RL club as a business/community enterprise and its partially worked, but I think he now knows that there is far too much passion, ignorance and emotion of every kind involved for that to really work, especially when stuff goes wrong.
I think he is now just doing whats needed to keep his baby afloat until someone comes along to take it off his hands.
Hence communication which used to be his strong point barely seems to register now.
Shame, but I honestly can't blame him, some so called Trinity fans are truly awful and worse the ones I'm referring to won't for one second realise it's them I'm on about.
Unless you have a skin as thick as Ted Richardsons then ten years running Trinity is far too much to expect from any normal person.

| Does all seem a little odd though, the way these announcements have come from the players, rather than the clubs own media.
Sadly another example of club not engaging very good with their fans.

I didn't get that vibe from his comments at the fans forum. Without burning his bridges I think he distanced himself from the "historical" quote that he would call it a day if we got relegated. We were rock bottom at the time of the FF remember.
Ted never got the amount of stick MC gets which is strange when you remember the basket case that the club was off the field in those days.

i havnt seen old Ted for years but I know he is still as passionate as ever about the club and still goes to all the games. Carter and Ted are totally different beasts and a blend of the two would be a great mix. Their downfall is that neither have the resources like their fellow SL club owners.
Think why Carter may take more stick is because the bloomers he makes are more rugby related and thats something that the fans quickly pick up on and can see are wrong. With Ted it was other stuff which many fans are not aware of or in areas they dont understand.
