I certainly can’t remember an injury list like this one.

To make it worse they are mostly long term injuries not just a match or two!

almost a must win for top 5 in my eyes- but seriously we are no hope I don't think with the injuries we have at their place.

Are you seriously saying "no hope" at their place ??
Maybe you should look at Huddersfield's injury list, form and lack of confidence before spouting rubbish.

There is plenty of spirit in the Trinity camp and although tired and busted, we're still good enough to get over the top of Shudds.

You don't even need to look at their team.
Wakefield have always pushed against the odds.
This team has always got a chance with the spirit in the team.

Bojo just doesn't get the positive side of anything and we are certainly up against it but we have a great chance and I look forward to seeing how we go.

At best we get unexpected points, at worst we get a team that have good experience right through to the last player in the squad which is valuable for future.

Never known an injury list like this before, but at the same time, never seen us with such never say die attitude.

They are all quite lengthy injuries, but was going through each one last night. If we can get through the May, with no more injuries, I would imagine Miller, Brough, Ashurst and Koppy will be close to coming back, not sure about England. Also, wasn't Huby and Batch about 12 weeks, so with that from mid Feb, they wouldn't be too far off either.

Trying to look on the positives

I look at it this way every win with our current injuries is a bonus. The plus side is that as these players return it will strengthen our chances in the run in because they will be fresh with most having missed on average 12 games.

When you look at that its amazing the quality of the squad we are still able to put out. Only Kershaw has no real SL experience, how many teams can say that. We need them to step up even though most of the remaining players are not 'star' players as such. It seems harsh on them but if they can hold the line until the absentees come back they will have done their bit even if some will probably lose their places.

Same 19 as last week but, Chester has already said that Randal will be playing and it would be great if Kopczak was fit.
He's been excellent for Trinity this season.
A bit more composure with ball in hand and better communication at the back and we should come away with 2 more valuable points.
Having said that, Shudds will also fancy their chances.

Make sure your pacemakers have their batteries fully charged, it's going to be close, maybe even golden time ?

is there any updated on injuries and how long it might be for the injured players till there back?

I can only see Gaskell missing from the Hudds 19, be a tough ask against the Cowbells.

Decent squad there. Surprising how many players have played for both teams, not just the ones there but in the full squads.

Only just made it at your place.

Saw Hudds coach with their cowbell earlier in the week. Hopefully he's disposed of it.

Plus Cudjo, Fergussen. Wardle, English, Holmes, Walne.

Apart from Kershaw all those are recognisable names, that squad is far more experienced than ours with 4 or 5 inexperienced academy players in again.

Can’t see us winning this one, too many key players out. As long as they play their hearts out like they have been doing I’ll be happy.

I'd really like to but I'm too tired to explain.

I am not doubting our character at all and am really enjoying how hard we are trying .

but the fact of the matter and the conversation we are having re the top 5 - is that the injuries we have got has ruined I believe any chance we have to make top 5 this year ...the cup game against widens now is worry to I think - .

I hope I am wrong and when the players come back if they do - we are not to far behind 5th but I think the horse would of bottled.

I think we still have the personnel to beat Widnes but I hope the coaching team have a more confident outlook than the previous two years cup games.

Forget about who’s missing it’s not as relevant on the day than who wants to win. Hudds always want to beat us, don’t know why they just do. On there own patch they are favourites, all home teams should be favourites with the odd exception.

This will not be close to our strongest 17, which imo is one of the top 4 in SL but it’s not rubbish. We need a bit of luck a commodity we have been missing this season and the same spirit that saw us beat Leeds over Easter.

Hudds are not Saints who imo are along with Warrington the two teams this team can’t beat, at least on papers. If they want it then two points are a possibility in this game, can’t ask for more than that.
