,rumours sale are moving in with us at the new stadium, poor marketing and running of the club. I think the mad season ticket info which was very poorly put down on paper , having to pay a membership fee for each person not each house hold which it was for the last two seasons has played a big part in poor season ticket sold.

I think it's safe to say that of all your fellow SL club fans, the ones who are least likely to be all superior and snidey about your situation are us; we've been there, done it and bought the t-shirt, to later find that that t-shirt we bought didn't actually belong to the person who sold it to us and the proceeds went to a dodgy off-shore instrument rather than to the club. Or something.

Agreed jonh. If he was bigger and stronger he could get away with being on the slow side a la Wellens, not saying he'd be as good mind. Unfortunately for him he is both small and slow and I can't really see him ousting Luke patten out of the number 1 shirt!

True, he showed some nice touches and had a decent short kicking game (apart from drop goals!) but couldn't get away.

Have to say Vievers was ok at full back but looks more of a good championship player than a SL regular.

It's a shame for Salford. But the basic business/marketing models are not their to build on for their move to their new stadium.

Much like Wakefield of old, I'd like to think that our transition to a shiny stadium will be smoother and should be now we are much Improved off the field.

Salford are my tip for wooden spoon but I think it would be a shame if they do and I hope they avoid it for their fans sake who have had a rough ride last few years.

Surprised to see Vievers get a SL contract so yes probably cover. 10th is possible as generally the gap between 13-10 is only a win or 2.

Lots of people tipping us for the spoon on total el like every year but we fin 13 last year and this year we have had a few hundred thousand more invested in our squad, improving off-field and retained the success of 2011 (Johnson, Moriano and Amor).

Then it's clear that you have either never been to a game or only started watching last season. There have been many far worse than him and we still have one or two on the books IMO.

Agreed he is far from the worst player who has ever pulled on the jersey, just lacked pace and a bit of confidence. Championship will probably end up as his level but he will always be a handy player for someone because of his goalkicking ability. In a year of few points he was our top points scorer so he wasn't all bad by any means, just not what we need if we are to move up a level.

Out of pure curiosity, who do you think are the players we still have who are worse than him? I can think of possibly Hyde (at stand off that is, at fullback it might have been a different matter) but I think the rest of the dead wood has been cleared out.

I'd rather not name names I'll leave the victimising of individuals to NGB4C. I don't mind Hyde but he is one who has a bit to prove yet, more a S/O than a F/B for me but we will have to differ on that one. Every new player we have or ever have signed is a gamble that is a universal truth so they are all in the "could be the worst player ever" catagory.

Just because he is young and inexperienced doesn't mean he is good. He is far and far away from SL standard he was lucky to earn a living in SL . Is it because his Dad is a former player? You cannot have been to any games if you think Hyde is a better stand off. A stand off that cant tackle, pass or kick. Some of the posts of yours I agree with some I don't thats how it is. Is that right the kid was thrown in at the deep end last season and gave 100% in every game he played I am not saying he was a SL player but he is still young and could still make the grade

He nowhere near the worst player to pull on the red white and blue not by a long way and I wish the kid well hope he makes it at Salford
