Of the players who departed whilst we were in administration, only one was sold by the administrator - the rest went of their own accord. That's my understanding if it, formed by reading the administrator's report, which you would assume is the truth.

The sale was agreed " in principle" with Hull FC before the administration and was concluded after the Administrators were appointed.

Why doesn't anyone want him back? He was a great player and if signed for another year would win quite a few MOM accolades IMO. Great tackler, good runs from dummy half and his support play is better than the tripe we displayed this season (to be fair we didn't break very often).

The administrator could only sell him if he wanted to go. He went, we have moved on it's a big no from me. As for the comments about him being great don't be soft.

If we were in a similar scenario as we were at the beginning of this year now, then I would take him but were not. Were slowly developing and I'd be looking elsewhere and sam would be a last minute solution if we couldnt find anything.

Obst position is hooker not a half back . Obst interchanging with ellis as hooker is great. Not sure where Lee would fit in though

Even without Lee I would think the backup to Ellis should be Davey and Wildie, although I do think Wildie is more a half than a hooker

Obst was a cracking player for us, he's ability to play Hooker or in the Halves considered to be his strength is also his weakness in my opinion. I think the question is not his ability but rather where he would fit into the equation?

For me, i'd rather we allow Davey and/or Wildie to develop, bringing Obst back would only be a stop gap and result in less game time for our younger lads.

He was quite adamant that he was staying at Hull when I asked him. Maybe he did lie to me but he seemed a genuine lad when I was talking to him.

Hickeys record was great 85 NRL appearences who wouldnt be excited but this fat lump of lard came over that wasnt interested in budging any weight easy mistake to make i think the club thought he was good also.
