Agree it was rubbish even mentioning Brough, or he should have mentioned the other 6 players missing as well.
I have no complaints though, the team that played were good enough to win, but Wakey played the conditions far better than us on the day.

Lets be fair his knowledge of RL doesn't stretch that far. They can make all the excuses they like but results like today are what makes sport what it is.

Well, you were proved wrong tonight.....
For every thread you have on here with people 'criticising' Wakey, I'm sure you could have one for a person praising Wakefield.
Sadler in League Express, for instance, wrote back to back articles about how SL should be expanded to 15 (IMO, because of Wakefield) and the week preceding he wrote a section on Wakey.

| Your signature currently claims you need to read the AUP. It's probably not the only thing you need to read to get a more rounded view of the situation.

| I think there is an element of truth in what Eddie says like it or not. It was a shock result, Hudds probably did suffer a bit more than us from the exiles and the weather did make a difference IMHO. Eddie and Stevo are only stating the obvious.
However it was also obvious which team had the desire and which coach had the right game plan or certainly managed to get his team to follow it. I think it's balance we really want rather than praise and Eddie and Stevo rarely provide that for any team tbh - they are a shocking combo and when you compare them to their Aussie counterparts who are a joy to listen to it makes you weep.

I agree with what you are saying about the Aussies. Their commentary is far superior to ours.

We get this all the time off sky they didnt mention morrison once playing at the weekend did they. You watch boots an all this week they will makeup excuses for shudds not winning the game not that we were the better team on the day.

"Super League - Super Market - Super Stadium?!"
Ouch.
I think you're wrong about the way the media have handled our situation up to now, but I sense the tide is turning; some media figures may well be starting to realise that whilst AG has kept his powder dry up to now, good things are happening at WTW - it's right that gets some recognition.

| Much of the criticism has been levelled at Sky/BBC - television. Much of what I've read in the printed media, certainly League Express and League Weekly, has generally been supportive of WTW. Obviously there was going to be scepticism but whether you like it or not - you were favourites to go down at the start of the season and through much of the first few months of this season. Whether you still are now is a matter of opinion and no doubt there will be some difference of opinion from yourself, myself and A.N. Other from wherever on all things whether it be WTW, Cas or general rugby league matters.
The only way you can get praise and publicity, though, is by doing, showing action and showing determination. I think every RL fan would applaud Wakefield this season for the way they have led from the front through adversity (and not for the first time) and stood up to those critics.

| the guys a tit but yesterdays game was a leveler with the weather, the team pulled off a fantastic win in doing what they do best and that is 5 runs and kick,
shudds ball handling was pathetic but if it had been a dry game I think IMHO we would of been out paced
I would hope that every game we had left to play was played in the same conditions

I agree with what you say, but the quote from NB in yesterday's post match interview left me somewhat bemused.
'The opposition seemed to play the conditions much better than us for the first period of the game. Wakey make limited errors as it is and they take limited risks and they generally kick the ball well'
I don't think he's watched the tapes of our recent games re errors and kicking
