Oh my God! This is awfull. He's a fantastic player. We are really gonna suffer and Salford are a cert for a top 5 finish now.

Too erratic for me, he has the occasional flash of brilliance but his distribution is poor and is often the oppositions best player. His energy and enthusiasm will be missed though.

I'm gutted to see this, Leo is one of our few serious attacking strike players, a serious loss to our attack and also to our defense

A loss to the defence, more often than not I see him trying to put a big hit in and missing, meaning extra cover work for his teammates.

tbh i am not bothered either way. he is a good impact player and when he has been "on song", the speed of our game has always lifted.

however, the "on song" days seem to get further apart......

so, to recap, i don't mind him leaving cos he can be erratic, however he MUST be replaced by someone better.....(alas i am quite sure this will not be case, so we might as well keep him.........)

With the right coaching, Latu could be a brilliant player.

But that's another subject!

what worries me is who will replace him as MV says, who can we bring in that will be better? I dont think we can bring in any one who will be better, so surely we need to strive to keep players like leo?!

Can't say i'm sad to see him go after last few months and agree with a lot of what has been said. Thing is he will no doubt go on and be a decent player for em. And you can bet your life he'll score when we play

To be honest I hope Davey or Wildie are given the chance to replace him.

Impossible to have a view until I see who replaces him; all is quiet on the signings front...

On a side note, Salford have now signed Patten, Nero, Anderson, Latu, Wild and Palaesina (tba). So that's one englishman out of 6. Add that to Holdsworth, Henry, Cashmere and Leuluai and there isn't much space for the english lads

Davey is a better option for us at Hooker.

Whilst I wouldn't say I was glad to see him go, I do think that we won't miss him overly.

Leuluai is leaving, he has gone to Lezignan in France. You are also forgetting about the likes of Broughton, Gibson, Ratchford, Sidlow, Matty Smith, Rob Parker, Adamson and Jewitt who will all be very much part of the team next season.

Very hit and miss but he does seem to have passion, I am 50/50 wether we should have kept him but all the best to him at Salford.

He has been pretty woeful for us this year to be fair. he's a sound lad and maybe a change of team may be good for him.
