OH Dear, I watched the Wembley game on you tube with Paul Cooke commentator, you can hear the referee shouting clearly "held " " hold " then "release" then Go, All in quick succession each time each side THUS speeding up the game, No time for long wrestling etc his ability far in front of mickey mouse ref & the last idiot at Barrow !
So it looks like we are due more nonsense !
This issue is proved by constantly asking players to move back to the original tackle point !

I’d like to see Smith get another game. He played very well and looked sharp last week and tackled everything that moved.

Doyle could play interchange 13.

He's fifth choice prop so one of the others will have to drop out.

If one were to, for me id give Atoni a rest, he looks a little weary and not the destructive force he was at the start of the season.

That's one of a number of options open to DP for sure, I just felt that Booth deserves a chance, but thought that if it doesn't go well, we can put Max to FB & Kay in the halves, but if Booth goes OK we can use Kay elsewhere maybe a spell at LF?

I would not move Max ever again if I was DP. Especially with Lino still injured. Max and Lino our a biggest try assist makers.

I agree. Max has to play full back if fit. However, I do like the look of Booth and he played well in the reserves. I think he played centre in the reserves so I wouldn’t be against having him in right centre.

I'd do the opposite
Start with Jowitt at FB and try and get on top of them.
We can then bring Booth into the game, maybe at HT but, Batley will throw all they have at us for the first 20-30 mins and they're a decent side.

Perfect game to give Shaw a run out , tough opposition which will give Powell a good look at him under duress , but at the same time not putting the result in jeopardy by doing so .

Virtually identical performance to the corresponding game at Mount Pleasant. It didn't help with losing Hood in the warm-up and MickeyMouseless was up to his usual standard but credit to the lads who came in and helped turn it around in the second half.
I would have given Pratt M.O.M personally, especially after that 95 metre solo effort

Another win that we can attribute to our fitness and conditioning guys. Hope there's a plan B for the trip to full time Toulouse.
