Whilst I always thought Toulouse at home was going to be an important game it’s now pretty clear that this game is now a must win. Toulouse have capitulated against all the teams they’ve played so far but a win at Belle Vue could give them a realistic chance of avoiding the drop.

Presumably in addition to the long term absentees we will also be without miller possibly Jowitt. Apart from lynne are any of the other outside backs likely to return ?

After last night am genuinely concerned about this game - you’d think we could beat them in the forwards but our wide defence looked like what it was yesterday -

If only we didn’t sign an injury prone backup to Miller and Jowitt and kept the backup that actually was able to stay fit more than a few games.

A home fixture, against a club who we would expect to finish in the lower half of the league needs to be 2 points for us.

To be fair, Toulouse will be the first club we have faced who you would realistically expect to finish in the bottom half of the table and therefore, it's a game that we need to be winning.
I know that Hull FC and probably Leeds will likely be mid table, rather than GF contenders but, Toulouse, along with Salford, KR and Cas, maybe Huddersfield will probably be making up the 6-12 positions and home games (with some away fixtures).

Hopefully, we have Lyne and Hall back in the centres and Walker is certainly worthy of a spot in the halves, which wil boost our forward options, with Batch and Pitts able to revert to their usual positions.

I think it’s an important game in order for us to get that winning feeling again. Prior to Leeds it was 3 games in which we played really well but come away with nothing. We can’t base the start of our season so far on the first half against Leeds, even though it was terrible, we know we are much better than that. It’s simple, play like we did against st’s and Catalan we get the 2 points, play like we did first half against Leeds and they will beat us. I’m confident we’ll come away with 2 points.

It’s not a relegation game - yet, but for lots of reasons it’s very important we win and I think we will based on the second half of last night’s game!

It's important in that it's a very good chance to get our season going. It will make our life a lot easier if we win it and a bit harder if we don't.
