Hello

It is with great sadness that after a few previous attempts I am definitely retiring after the HKR game.

For about 12 years I have had a total blast, caused a fair bit of mayhem, made a few people laugh and hopefully represented the club in a positive way.

I think all involved at present are doing an amazing job and all deserve a big pat on the back.

I would love to carry on but I'm not getting any younger and family commitments need my time.

Thank you to all the fans who I hope I have entertained at some point during my time.

It's a shame that you are giving it up but as someone with a young family myself I can understand why.

You'll be sadly missed and I hope the club can find a suitable replacement as you have done a great job entertaining the fans, both young and old.

Could always tell within 10 seconds of DC walking out whether it was you or not....and always a shade disappointing when it wasn't you if I'm honest....

Having known you in and out of the outfit, you'll be sadly missed. You keep all three generations of my family entertained on match day, and my son will be gutted not to sit on your knee for his annual photo - he loves seeing how he's got older, but you still seem to keep rolling back the years!!

A very tough act to follow, all the best and lets hope you can make the odd game as a regular punter !

Without a doubt you were the best in the business and sad it had to end really, the good news' is Cheshire Cat is stepping up after beating off a challenge from Bazzo and say's he cannot wait to show you all his moves' and entertain you all

You've been very entertaining throughout the years and a pleasure to watch. I also enjoy when you come into the stands and sometimes sit beside me. Like you did at the Salford game.

I'm in the 2nd row of block C. Come up again this Sunday so I can shake your hand and wish you well for the future. (I was the one at the Salford game who made the joke about a Widnes fan being present.)

Simply the best.

I'll always remember the smile you put on the faces of everyone in the stands as you went round - particularly the kids. It won't be the same without you and whoever follows you has a tough act to follow. Enjoy your time with your family.

Loved the races with the othe mascots. My grand kids always loved it when you came out and I have to admit you always brought a smile to my face so good luck and I will thank you properly when I see you at the next ddh/yas meeting.

This is slightly off topic but it's really bugging me: can anyone tell me if this "jim" is the same Jim that fronts the Wakefield punk rock band Milloy? Probably a longshot but I didn't know it was him that did Daddy Cool if it is!

Made the kids, their grandad and I all laugh on a number of occasions with his antics. I've got him as a screen saver with my two lads on a great sunny day at Belle Vue.
