Very happy with this one....Aiton was a great player for us and a sad loss but I honestly think Mcshane could offer better distribution from acting half and guide us round the park a little better......see......all the doom and gloomers out there we're starting to take a bit of shape now and looking much healthier....a few more additions like our last couple and we can definitely be more than competitive....

Now lets ask santa for a good scrum half and then we will be just about there.

He's a good signing and one i personally wanted to stay as our 9.
His passing is sharp and he can execute the cut out pass with speed and quality ,he brings a long and short kicking game aswell.
Questions have rightly been asked about him defensively(at times) and his fitness/stamina over 80 minutes plus sometimes he trys things on the 5th when the basic pass to yer kicker would be a better option but for me he is a good 9 at this level and can still improve.

A great boost, a good player, just add an experienced scrum half and a few squad players and we've the makings of a decent squad.

The club has now started to show what everyone has been asking for and that is some decent signings, now is the time for the doubters to get back on board and help us to realise the potential this club has.

We still need more people to buy season tickets so if you've been holding off waiting to see what is going to happen, then now is the time to do it. More signings are in the pipeline an the more tickets we can sell, the better the chances of adding another couple of extra ones as well.

The squad is starting to shape up and it's certainly better than what I expected it would be when the problems came to light a few months ago. Even with the gaps we still have I'd say it's better than the squad we've started some seasons with in the past. A bit more season ticket money to go towards a decent quality half back and we're looking competitive with the teams in and around us.

I agree. With every signing we make we give ourselves more and more of a fighting chance and anyone expected to be near the trap door by the end of the season will be getting nervous.
And with Cas track record that doesn't come as much of a surprise, although for what its worth they have a quality coach in Powell and i think they'll be ok this season.

Bag of pork scratchings and a conka that has won 7 fights hardly breaks the bank!
