Nothing, but searches reveal his preferred position is wing or centre, yet his club list him as front row or utility forward.

He's either very versatile, or the internet is largely made up.

Prop or 13

As a mate said to me do we really need another prop? Or is one going to be released?

He's a utility player that can play prop,second row or centre but most recently prop from what I've read. Must have some pace for a big guy.

He's big enough at 6ft 3 and 17 1/2 stone for prop. Sounds maybe has played with our other overseas signings before with Paramatta and Cronulla links?

If he can add even more hard running to our front row then it's just the boost that Wakefield need to progress into the top 8 and will secure Tautai a place in the Samoan World Cup Squad playing for the Wildcats rather than second grade in Australia.



Think it's no return for Mariano if this guy signs and Mellars will be moved on as utility value will be diminished by this guy. We'll have 5 genuine sized props now with Annakin going to second row or lock forward competition with Washbrook?

No need to get rid of any props IMHO as need 4 in 17 week in week out and need competition for places, Wilkes is coming to end of his contract as well this season.

Unlikely to be 13 - Washbrook seems to have that sewn up.
Prop - likely.
Back row - Another one; unlikely!!

He's a prop that has played 13, some teams run and extra prop in the 13 shirt.

However, our very own ben cockayne has retweeted the news from a different source altogether.... would he get in a bit of hot water with the club for such an action if it wasnt true?

This would be a decent signing, gives plenty of go forward. He should hopefully settle ok seeing how he has already played with Collis, Aiton, Tim Smith & Poore at Cronulla and the Parramatta.

Having 4 genuine props is fine BUT our pack leader is now injured (not serious I hope). Having another prop in the same mould can only be a good thing IMHO.

Its coming into our game, different level at open age buts its used quite a lot.

Its been on the cards for a while, just dotting the eyes so to speak.
