Danny forget the one moment last night you have done this club and us fans proud this season.You have been a stand out player along with others that have brought a smile to the fans faces.I for one among many are glad you came to this club along with the other players who have given us a season we could have only dreamed of a short time ago.I can only see that next season will be even better than this and proud you will be part of that again

That cover tackle reminded me of Scott Sattler

I have to say that tackle was one of the best cover tackles I've seen.
One Mike Gregory did at Wembley always stod out for me. No one remembers it because the ball was flung inside and Wigan had loads of people backing up.

I thought on the day it was something special but when I saw it back on tv I realised how special it was. He was out pacing everyone and Danny came from a long way across field to tackle him, and when he got there the execution was perfect.

Agree he's been immense all season.

Feel sorry for the guy. Simple mistake of a guy that was fatigued with the immense amount of work he'd done.

When you signed Washbrook I thought it was simply Agar signing a mate and thought he'd gone stale at Hull............I have to admit I was wrong and from what I've seen he looks like he's got himself motivated and done you proud. Fair play to the lad

DW hasn't put a foot wrong all season - I feel desperately sorry for him after that howler last night and it's a testament to the type of player he is that he put his hand up immediately afterwards and apologised.

He deserves massive credit for chasing down the BWIW - we do that corner-flag drill with our U13's; we can now use video of that tackle to show them why.

Danny Washbrook - he's alright by me.

Danny Washbrook has been a fantastic player for us this season. He reminds me of Dennis the Menace.

DW as been absolutely first class for us all season. My player of the year.

Works his socks off and does a lot of good work that goes unnoticed

His cover tackle on Hall (i think) was the best tackle I have seen all season and that kept us in the game.

His shocking pass was woeful - if that had of stuck I am convinced we would have gone on to win the game, but hey.... that's the difference between a top side and us. We must be more clinical and learn to take our chances. If we had done on Sat we WOULD have won that game (:

Back to DW - anyone slating this guy in any capacity really needs a reality check.

NGB$C - take it you never did anything wrong or took the wrong option in life.Yes it was an error but would it have changed the outcome it might have or might not.Would the burrows first try a mile forward had it not stood changed the game might/might not.Alas we dont have a crystal ball the result is history and wont change.Danny Washbrook is one of the reasons we got so far this year with his constant work rate and all round game for that I am proud of the guy.
