| Tried hard then gave up as soon as Leeds got a sniff. I'll be at the Salford game though and 100% behind the boys. Just hope they share the fans belief because I'm sure most of us believe we are capable of better with the players we have.

I know we were playing the World club Champions and Superleague Champions (spit...spit), but Eorl Crabtree stated on Radio Leeds that they looked like they could score every time they got the ball. What does that say about our defence ??? (answers on a postcard please !!)

| Just because a lot of us are now starting to demand better doesn't mean we aren't proper fans, we just need a ruthless element for once down at Belle Vue. It's all just a bit nicey nicey.

| Where do you think i am - Skegness ! Well actually i could be !
Trinity wage packets not quite as big as Rhinos wage packets = trinity players not quite as good as rhinos players, or indeed the other top teams. This means that their ability to stay as focused as the opposing side is also going to be not quite as good - and that is when the better players capitalise. This team has lads that bust their guts and for that i applaud them. I must also point out that at your age you really should be able to spell your name properly.

Exactly, when we have players who have won a few World Club Championships and Grand Finals, then we can get annoyed at a defeat. A win tonight for Wakefield would have been nothing other than a major upset. The problem is for Wakefield at the moment, as Agar pointed out, is that if we only raised our game levels against the lesser clubs to those against the best clubs, we would be a few points better off by now!

...
I accept that our players are not as good as the Whino's, but it's not just the other "top" teams is it ?? It's everyone...LondonFulhamHarlequinsBroncos nilled us..FFS...Castlefud Tigers easily rolled us over, and I honestly think SalfordNo Fans will do the same....I want to be optomistic, I really do, but it's the same old Trinity we have been watching since we were at school together......new management, new players....same results !!!!
I just hope when we get to Newmarket that we can turn things around on the field !!!!

| I think what has upset a lot of people tonight is that we were in a good position and then suddenly in just a 2 minute spell the game was lost, we weren't worn down or outclassed for a long period, we lost concentration for 2 crucial minutes then the heads went down. I think we are nearly there but belief and focus has to improve. Once Leeds were in a commanding position they could get into that higher gear and chance their arm and build a flattering scoreline but whilst it had been close on a greasy pitch Leeds may have not played catch up until the last 15 minutes.
I think a big prop signing could be a catalyst but then Grond and Hickey never added fuel to the fire.
Maybe we are just jinxed no matter what

| Next week is key. Most peoples patience is just about holding but a defeat to an average at best Salford side at home in front of the tv cameras again and that patience might just run out. Its time to see some results.

| We should have been 26- 6 up at half time and second half was a big let down. Next game v Salford is a very big game for us and because we are the best fans in the world we support the coach and team. If we lose convincingly to Salford then questions have to be asked, building or not building a team we still need to compete.

| I was highly encouraged by tonight's display. Forget the scoreline - we forced a situation where Leeds had to play at the top of their game in the second half because we gave it to them in the first.
When Leeds play well, they should beat us - no shame in that.
We do have a real problem with the kicks though - I can't remember us winning a contested kick cleanly, and that is going to hurt us week after week.
Much to build on though, with special mentions to Aiton, Wood, Smith and Kirmond IMO.
Play like we did tonight, stay focussed and with some luck with the ref and we can win next week and get our season going again. It's all to play for!

Totally agree, how did collis drop those two balls, such a frustrating player. Im honestly not expecting us to win, but by no means am i expecting us to be on the back of a hiding.

| I encouraged the team right up till 12-24. Then I left and listened to the last 20 minutes on the car radio.
Pathetic capitulation once Leeds got in front.
What the hell was said at the half time team talk? "The game's in the bag lads, rest up for the Salford game"

Fair post. Wood starting was good to see. Smith passing into touch is getting frustrating and wingers not taking a ball under pressure will as you say kill us. Bit of luck. A fair wind and the ref giving us some 50/50s and we may pick il a few wins yet!

They didnt look like they could score every time they had the ball in the 1st half, far from it. But our spirit went and our bodies failed a bit in the 2nd half. 1st half was a monumental effort against a more pwerful pack, but it can't go on, especially if you make errors and the ref shafts you at critical points to rub the salt in. Bigger and more powerful side just wore us out, but I'll say I was proud of their effort tonight. If...if they can put that into Salford and others of that ilk, they will pick up points

| I've only seen you lot on Sky and tonight and considering who you've got missing i think you have plenty of positives to build on Wood looked very sharp ,kirmond caused us plenty of strife and your offload game was threatening 1st half.
Yes when we upped the gears we put some gloss on the scoreline but that shouldn't detract what effort your boys put in nor the quality of what they did for a good hour but that early defence was always gonna catch up when we gained momentum.

| Should have gone in at half time 20+ points to the good. Bombed far too many chances that proved costly. Leeds were always going to step it up in the second half after a McDermott rollocking, shame nobody told the team. At 18 - 12 within only 8 second half minutes elapsed, the game looked as good as gone.

| Going off radio alone, but this reminds me so much of 2006 and Tony Smith in relation to poor second halves.
Before the game, the scoreline would not be unexpected, given home advantage and the opposition. But we struggle in the second half. We compete, kinds, London aside, for forty, and then get rolled over in the second half. Does Agar have a dressing room presence?
Not as doom and gloom as earlier in the week, and I never expected us to win, and so I'll see how it goes. A loss against Salford, for me, would be unforgivable, and would be the real sign of how we are doing.

Looked a totally different side in the two halves.
First half we looked sharp in attack and solid in defence. Wood and Kirmond were causing allsorts of problems and we created some good chances but we didn't capitalise on them. Forwards were making good ground and our discipline was pretty good.
Second half we were falling off tackles, watching Leeds run at us, looked pretty clueless in attack, Smith's passing was all over the place and it was only Isaac John's late try that prevented us being scoreless in the second half. Gave away too many cheap penalties and coughed up too much possession.
We now have just over a week to recover and regroup for Salford. As you say, the result of this one will be a good marker for how much we've improved and what the rest of the season holds...

Leeds or not it was still 32 points against in 40 minutes and that is not good enough old lad I did not expect a win I do not expect a rout either in the 2nd half
The bench had that Agar look about it

Agar out
