Don't know how many are down sides but the seating is half empty and there looks to be quite a bit of space empty behind sticks. Roughly 600 from Wire by looks of it.

Creative accountancy if there was over 5,000 there tonight. 4,600 tops imo, we cant keep doing this all season. It would have looked bad with a 4000+ gate. What concerns me is that we were playing a top side, who brought a fair few and we had the discount offer.

Warrington didn't look to bring that many to be honest.
I really enjoyed tonight, they did us proud.

Not a great attendence but not a terrible one either. Wire brought around 6-700 and as we all know if it is on sky, it always knocks a lot off the gate. We have Leeds at home in a couple of weeks, we really need to be looking at hitting 8000 for that.

Plenty of valid reasons for fair weather supporters.

If glover puts his hand in his pocket and makes us competitive this will start to change things along side the great initiatives he's brought to the club.

5k was ok, it was a good atmosphere in the ground, beer was cheap and those in the ground left happy.

The players on that pitch made us proud. Barely anyone left before full time.

after todays mad rush I could of quite easily of gone home, knackered back too but managed to get for the second half.

even with a low crowd our spot where we stand near the beer caravan should of been able to cope with the demand but it struggled to serve.
after wait twenty mins and the que hadn't gone down I chose to give this game a miss for a pint


while the Wakefield support chose to let the club down at least the club didn't let the fans down with the food and from what I was told the new bar in the flats.

Just over 5k isn't the best but it could have been alot worse a City the size of Wakefield should be getting bigger crowds and it will get better crowds now it's stopped being run like a corner shop. Let's face it everybody was expecting us to get hammered it was on sky which they always say knocks 2k off the gate so I'm not too despondent with the attendance. Today's visitors Warrington are the blueprint we should aim for a similar sized place to Wakefield look what the new ground did for them I know Morans money has helped but we should follow their example

What was their crowd for the sky match against shudds the other week? Like I said earlier we should be getting bigger crowds and the way things are going we will do this great club is in the process of being rebuilt. Other clubs are struggling at the moment who have better players it's not just us.

IIRC it was 5,900 so not much more than ours.

Thought 5k was good to say it was a Friday night Sky game and it wasn't the best of nights weather wise.

Yeah not too bad I didn't think considering the weather, sky and our current predicament, then 5k is reasonable. Definitely something to build on and the team have done themselves huge credit on TV which might entice some of the casual fans back.

As others have mentioned could do with a couple of new faces if possible though, if we can keep the commitment levels up like they were tonight, then a little creative flair and a heavy duty front rower could make the difference when we have the ball in hand. We got into some good field positions tonight, but very little creativity or nouse to convert that into points. If we sharpened our teeth a bit and just became even a little more competitive that would help boost crowds imo.
