Pleased that they have extended Korki's loan.

He plays his best rugby for Wakefield.

Shudds dont pay fees allegedly yet we get a fee for Brough, on top of that we get a very good prop for the rest of his contract plus a good well thought of second rower for the rest of the season, against that we lose a very good scrum half on his day but whose head has been turned by the promise of the moon on a stick and would be leaving anyway come the end of the season. Whether the banker thought that our Ted would go all the way and at the end of the season did not want to risk losing out on Brough when the big clubs would presumably come in for him who knows. But as I see it the banker dare not risk it and has offered uncle Ted an offer he could not refuse to reward him for his bravery and cunning in playing the game. Ted deal or no deal, deal Ken.

I would have preferred Danny Brough to have stayed but when it was clear that he wanted away then we had to get the best deal we could. Still not happy with Kirmond on loan as I feel we are helping Huddersfield probably more than it helps us, certainly in the long run but I'll get over it. Very happy with Korki staying the full term of his contract with Huddersfield and then paying part of his wages - thats worth a few thoudand.

With the cash as well I'd have to say DEAL.

Korki is no longer a Giants player,so the Giants will be no longer paying any of his wages i hope this clears things up Sandal cat.

When you pick up an asset for nothing, as we did with DB, utilise the asset on the field to improve the playing standard of the culb, then move the asset on and realise a return - deal every time.

We will only realise how good a deal when we see how we cope without him. My hunch is we will be fine. Solomona was a far better player when he left and we improved after he left.

I'm not interested in who got the best out of the deal Hudds or Trin. Im only interested in the trin side of things.

Thought it said that Korki was still on loan but long term till the end of next season and therefore quite possible that the Giants are still picking up a percentage of his wages.

Another one in the know, Korki is on loan to Wakefield till his contract with the midgets runs out and as such will be paying part of his wages. I hope that clears things up for you too flower
