I agree with that, No disrespect at all to Wakefield but this must be 'Last Chance Saloon' for Cooke to prove he can once again find his obvious talent.

We've had many players come to kear with the last chance saloon sign over there heads, and they've knuckled down and performed well.

They may as well put that above the players entrance to BV such are the numbers of players who have come to the club supposedly drinking from there.

You would have to imagine this deal is quite favourable to us also. Hull KR want rid, i'd suggest they're possibly paying some of his wage whilst he's on loan (if the deal is confirmed)

I'm not sure he left Hull FC under a cloud, as my recollection is that he had been offered a new contract. They certainly didn't want him to go, as I recall. The fact that they didn't like where he went or the circumstances are different things altogether.

I meant that there was no suggestion that his playing ability was in doubt or that he had fallen out with anyone, which was the earlier suggestion. The fact that he was doing the dirty behind the scenes doesn't mean that he wasn't cutting it on the pitch, and that's all that bothers me. If he comes to us and then does the dirty, like going to Cas, which is of course downright filthy, then we'll move on and boo him a bit when he returns.
