According to Radio Leeds we have signed him on a 1 year deal, up to JK, Beans & Colin S. now. If he`s good enough for JK he`s good enough for me.

I think it's fair to say if stosic had not cocked up with his passport PK probably would not have much of a SL career left!
I hope he sees this as his demascus moment and keeps out of the boozer and gets his head down.

I think a 1yr contract is long enough untill he can prove, he is over his injuries and his passion to play in the Red,White and Blue of the Wildcats...

Not wanting to be overly critical but can all of you who are now posting that this one-year contract is a good deal remember that in a years time if he has a blinder and sonmebody steals him off us.

In my opinion one-year is the right thing to do but don't be surprised if he rediscovers his form and other clubs come sniffing.

Some people do show loyalty as well Moore,Bibey a case in point.

Its difficult to win either way with 1 year deals and without knowing details of the offer we can't really comment.

I hope he makes it with you. Much better to see you playing an English prop than an Aussie/Serbian/Kolpak player.
He & Moore alternating could give you good go forward, defensively not so sure.

I am not being critical at all, I think 1 year is the right thing to do.

I was just pointing out that knowing some of our fickle fans who like to moan a lot they will be singing the clubs praises for signing him on a 1 year deal but then moaning like crazy if it does work out and then we lose him. In the same way that they would have moaned if we had given him 2 or 3 years and he works out to be past it.

Hopefully we will have learned our lesson with this. If he's tearing up trees then offer him an extended contract during the season. Simples!

i wouldnt worry about his tackling, we'll simply set richie moore to "tackle mode" and he'll make 4 tackles a set for 80 mins! simple

Was not aware of his off field problems but i am sure Kear is aware of them. I think it is a very good signing and im sure that there will be something in his contract covering misdemeanours and also he has now come out of his comfort zone of Hull and will hopefully want to prove himself and earn an extended contract...if it is drink he will also have to be careful given o doubt he will be travelling to training and matches

then again he could get a lift won Broughy's bus !!!!!!

I've read somewhere that he suffers from claustrophobia.

Two years and he does little in fisrt year

At least with one year we get value for money.

To be fair he has been shown the door by his home town club and it is a case of play well or hope that some other clib comes in for him.

Might do him some good being released by Hull, might give him a kick up the backside, was one of the best props in SL in 2004/2005, played quite well last season towrads the end of the year . Has had some back luck with injurries and lets himself down off the field.

Woudlnt worry about him leaving you he is a very loyal player, the only club he would leave you for is Hull, and I cant see he ever coming back.

I really hope he goes well for you, on the field you will get 100% from him.

Could turn out to be a great signing for you guys, but I doubt we would have been able to replicate if he does, he had got his feet too far under the table at FC.

Lots of things to consider here.We trusted J.K on Petersen & got our fingers burnt big style.On fhe other hand Moore & Bibey came to us as the last chance saloon,so no complaints there.Hope J.K is right this time,in Paul King we have potentialy a very good signing & if anyone can turn him round it,s J.K, who isn,t often wrong,but time will tell.Watch this space as the saying goes.

to be fair to peterson he got a lot of injuries which i think started in the semi final against hull. don't think he was ever fully fit.
