Sorry if this has been mentioned already but there's a little bit in the Daily Express today saying that Steve Snitch is Cas bound.

Is it true or is it the usual trying to disrupt us before a game, like we usually have stories about Brough and Atkins to name a couple before Huddersfiels and Leeds games?

If it is true then i would be sad to seem him go as he's been really solid for us this year.

Not put a foot wrong all season, bean there when others have gone missing, wouldn't be suprised if other coaches coveted him, up to us to keep him!

Why would cas want him when they have Ferres??? Snitch has played like a man possesed this year and hes been out most consistent player. He really has done us proud and looks a different player. If we let him go I would not be happy!!! Every player we have seems to be off to Cas it is a load of bull !

I would hope the club looks to give Snitch an extension ASAP best forward at the club this season

Snitch has been outstanding, and in some ways has stuck 2 fingers up at the people who slagged off Kear for bringin him back

He has been one of if not the best player all season, and one of bst second rowers in super league so I'd like to think we would try and offer a pretty good contract
On top of that Cas are pretty full up in second row with Ferris, Westerman, Widders, Jones, Clayton and Huby sometime why would they break the bank for him?

I agree and won't he be classed as a club trained player, under the new home grown talent rules, due to his previous spell with us??? If this is the case, then that is another reason why we should try hard to keep hold of him.

Clayton is out of contract
Westerman is a loose forward
Huby is a prop
Widders will probably be just a squad player

Snith can also fill in at prop, where he would probably end up playing at Cas because that is probably the weakest part of the team at the minute, would be a good signing if he did come but he's still under contract at Wakey so

mass exodus form wakey in the off season!

and the void being filled with the academy!

doubt it mate we got a pretty useful academy already. like i have said many times previous wakefield are desperate for a new investor!

It's Cas that need someone with money. A few of your players have had trouble getting paid
