Broughy needs to put Robinson in his place on Saturday!

Robinson will have heard all the guff about Danny being chased by the Giants and stuff like G Schoffield saying Brough should have been in the England team. He'll be targeting his dual with DB as a chance to show he's the better player.

When Broughy has him in his back pocket it will fall to the eratic Brown to pull the strings for Hudds and thats where BJ has to step up.

With the halfback tussle won the threat will come from the Giants hookers and their party peice of pinching a couple of baby tries from a yard out. We need to be vigilant around the play the ball area near our line and not fall for their for their flannel like we did at the Galpharm last year.

The forward battle will be brutal and we need to stand up to the Giants front rowers, I have no doubts about Tronc but Korki needs to get back to his best as well. My real worry for us will come when we have to spell the props as, so far this season, we have lost momentum when we do this.

Richard Moore has done OK but we really need another big impact prop in the absence of King (fitness and form) and Bibb(?).

Our backrow is where we should have an advantage and their advantage is Hodgson attacking threat from fullback.

We win the half back battle although BROWN is more dangerous than robinson.
The forward battle will be tough and having seem them vs wire they stood up very well and arguably beat them with crabtree coming off the bench, we need to have 4 PROPS this week.
We win back row and they've obv got the full back with hodgson, although he wasnt too influential last week..

No B.Hodgson but then again we didn't have him playing last season in the fixture. If Wakey win it'll be a low scoring game as we very rarely concede more than 20 points. Our problem last week was lack of enthusiasm which has been a rarity under Nathan Brown. Should be a decent game though. See you in the bar before the game.

Main questions are: who should we put on the wings and at full back? Did Blaymire do any better than Murphy at FB, and is Blanch ready? and do we need extra beef in the forwards? Are King or Johnson (ever) available?

i'd agree with most of that but can't see why you doubt korki. imo him and tronc have been outstanding. can't see he has done much wrong from the start of the season. can't fault his effort or commitment but do agree when korki and tronc come off we seem to lose momentum

no blaymire was at fault for eastmonds try, think murphy would have had him. bring blanchey back on to the wing and murph back to fullback imo. king must have had a pretty goog rest by now and would add some muscle and aggression to the forwards. in jk we trust though.

Because of the start to the season Korki has had it was enevitable that at some stage he would have a poor game by the standards he has set himself. Imo that blip was against the Saints and tbh he was not the only one what could not hold the ball, I think its a bit unfair to say that Korki needs to get back to his best after one mediocre game.

Couldn't have a better scenario for Korki to have a massive game, up against the coach who has discarded him and in front of the TV cameras

I agree with most I think this will be won and lost in the forwards, Crabtree when he gets his head on can be a monster, but if he has a quiet day, the Giants seem to as well.

Without being disrespectful to your win over Leeds I think this is a game that is a real early indicator of how the season will pan out. I think we have seen enough to think Trinity will occupy a place in the top 8, and while the Leeds game was up there with one of the best I have seen performance wise from Trinity in a long time, Leeds are an opposition that Trinity usually raise the bar against.

A lower profile Hudds team who are still a very dangerous team will give us more of an indication of just how good this current set of players could be for the club.

Bibb has joined Quins on loan for a month.

I hope this means that King is fit, he was missing last week due to a virus. I can`t see Johnson being fit yet, he didn`t train last week, still suffering the after effects of the Casty tackle, George won`t be fit until at least the HKR game next week so it looks like we`ll have the same 19 as last week apart from King replacing Bibb.

They have no Brett Hodgson he is there best player. We should win without him.

Correct thats almost exactly what I meant, it wasn't strictly a criticism of Korki, who has played to a very high standard with some fantastic displays but he was a little under par at St Helens.

The reason I feel MK needs to be back at his best is because we are short of a prop and the challenge that Huddersfields pack will bring means Korki form will be essential.

I think the three regular props have been fantastic up until now, considering they have had to do extra time Tronc especially. Maybe on Friday night they did not quite make the extra yards they would normally make but without a fourth prop, and against a huge pack maybe their standard if not the effort fell a bit short. I dont see it being much different against Hudds their pack is handy as well, so as you say we will need that little bit more from them this week, lets hope so. It would be nice to see King on the bench this week to take a bit of pressure off.

No he didn't but it was obvious he had some pain in his ankle the last 10mins and probably did more harm than good staying off the field as he got a few hits towards end of the game, he won't be playing on saturday, id be amazed it was obvious he was in pain and discomfort
