Kear is the summeriser at the Warrington v Catalans semi today.

I would like him to take note that both of these teams play expansive rugby and it has brought them success (Catalans would be much futher up the league had there best players not been out injured for most of the season).

This means i would like him to get us to play more expansive rugby, it cant be any worse than what we have been playing and the results can't get any worse.

I don't known, the Dragons appear to be as inept as Trinity in both defence and attack, despite the superior quality of the pivots.

Warrington however look a class act, full of invention in attack and aggression in defence, and are a joy to watch.

Thats what i am saying, they are a joy to watch, if we started to play better rugby then we may get a few more fans through the turnstiles.

He commentates on it, he explains it, he raves about it - but he can't coach it out of our lot for love nor money; very frustrating.

Atkins offloading like that?

Talk of expansive rugby aside, how many of our players would make the Warrington squad? Let's hope they are too busy celebrating this next week. If so, we may keep them under 50.

More exasperating is the fact that it's Westwood, Atkins & Solomona that's catching the eye!

Well I hope they've got it out of their system, otherwise it's another hammering next week. Think i'll put the money I won with the Huddersfield handicap on Wire -whatever. At least that way i'll have gone some way to paying for next years season ticket.

Surely that was not the same Ryan Atkins that used to play for us ?

The man is either an imposter or at Warrington they must have a coaching set up that is
able to work on players and greatly improve their game.

now theres an idea, funny how when millard arrived he was thought to have a great passing game, now he plays like atkins used to!

To be fair they just are using him in the right way, getting ball out to him quickly and putting him through gaps. He was used as a battering ram at Trinity. When he got the ball in broken field play he was just as devastating as he was today.

His passing has come on leaps and bounds though in that he actually does now.

We were having a discussion during the game about how many of our ex-players are scattered around other Super League teams. Came up with pretty much a full team and subs!

If somebody ever passed the ball to Millard we might find out if he has a "great passing game"

thats all well and good BUT if you do not have the backs to play expansive rugby what can he do
as for Catalan I do not buy that they are a poor team this season
