| Pretty sure he’s just resting players and trying options.
Other than Hood or maybe Eseh I think all are fine.

| Basically those that didn't play last week getting their change this week to put there name into the hat for round one.
No kelepi (not played all pre-seaon) and no bowes (not played since boxing day?) are the two I thought we would see this weekend.

| I'm looking forward to seeing how they both do.
I really like Langi and Smith needs a go at 7 with a good 6 to stake his claim.
Playing for the David Topliss Trophy too.
They have a strong squad out so a win when we put the kids on will be tough but let's see.

| I think this is about trying to get most of the squad some game time and looking at some different options.
Langi in the halves is a bit of a surprise though ?

He just looks a big lad these days, more of a centre, second row or loose forward ?
It's great to have plenty of options and I hope that he give Applegarth a headache about where to play him.

Not really, only Hood CD as far as I can tell. I doubt Eseh would play in game one anyway.
If we can get through against Hull unscathed we are in a good place.
Hall at FB is interesting, must say I have wondered, as he seems able to play almost anywhere.

| I don't think I've seen anything formal on Hood yet.
Eseh however definitely failed his HIA so can't play for 12 days at least. ( I think they increased the number from last year)

I thought he played a bit of 6 at Catalans 5 years ago but has over the past 4/5 years being a centre for almost all his games.
Can’t blame Mash for testing out options.

| We've a low quality squad, we were never looking to compete with sides like Hull. We just have to hope we've enough to finish above the likes of Leigh or Hull KR.
Having said that, it'd be unfair fair to judge us on the side we had out today.

| And right on time the misery brigade appear. They love for these moments, I love it.
We’ve lost many friendlies and beaten top teams for 24 years.
Grow up boys.

| There was never anything in this game other than giving players match fitness. We had Poching and Langi in the halves and Farrar and Law in the centres, that should sum up what we were getting out of this game. I genuinely take nothing from this game apart from match fitness for the 1-17 players who will be starting next week, which in the team we put out today might only be 5.

You’re eating your time Pat they just exist to e you these moments.
The result is about as relevant as beating Leeds on Boxing Day but oddly it never works like that way round.
We don’t have a low quality team but we do have some low quality supporters- sorry if I get in trouble for saying that but it’s the truth. They won’t be happy till we are losing to Whitehaven

| What’s positive about losing 56 - 0?
It’s a friendly, I know it’s meaningless in the grand scale of things but that’s poor in any context.
I also know that Hull FC had a strong team out while we had many youngsters in the team but all that just means it was a poor decision to go with all the youngsters!
They won’t learn tihs from being hammered like that no matter how hard you try to spin it
As for the game itself, why bother arranging a friendly if you really don’t want to play any of the SL squad in it?
It’s a waste of time for both clubs

For me, we’ll see how beneficial it’s been against Catalans round 1. It looked like we were giving certain forwards a decent run out, and if I’m not mistaken they didn’t get dominated, Hull ran riot against our edges.
