I'm hoping we'll see more of the new signings here.

Looking forward to seeing more of a few players like Murphy, Hall and the two trialists. We may see some of those that missed out Boxing Day get some game time like Eseh, Windrow, Sid.

Would like to see Murphy again on left wing.

Trialists will probably get another run out. Would imagine we will go our starting team vs fev where possible.

Hope we get plenty of minutes into Aydin aswell this pre season. Players like him will only get better with more game time and he looks like he’s going to be a good option for us off the bench in 2022.

If that is the threshold for not going because I am sure there are many more examples over the recent period. I guess the first that everyone could relate to was the 1968 Challenge Cup final but I don’t think any Wakefield supporter would have held him responsible. These things happens in all sports, you can be disappointed but really should be able to get over it.

Willie is interviewed in this weeks Wakey Express and says "The plan is we will give our more senior players a run together (against Halifax and/or Rovers). We have also pencilled in a game mostly to give our young fellas a run, against Oldham on January 22nd".
He goes on to say that Windrow picked up an ankle injury prior to Boxing Day and "He is a little way off, but it hasn't been too serious" and that Eseh "hurt his knee in training and might miss the first week of the season, other than that everyone's pretty good apart from the long-termers Bill Tupou, Jack Croft and Lee Kershaw" and that Sid Adebiyi was one of a couple that caught Covid on Christmas Day.

So hopefully we might put out a decent squad on Sunday, so me and the missus will be venturing across to see if we do

I would imagine (other than the trialists and depending on fitness) we should see a few more of the senior members of the squad filtered in.

Couldn't make boxing day, looking forward to this one. Halifax have a cracking stadium and have signed well, we'll see what the squads are like but I could see them giving us a game even at full strength! (At least for the first 40)

I'll tell you this for nothing though (put your money away!) deciding to stay awake and listen to the radio coverage is tough... i'm glad i'm in semi retirement! and can sleep in until 07.30!!!

Yes it’s £15 on the day and it was £10 in advance and juniors can turn up for a quid

Yep, just got ours from the above link at £15 each and printed them off straight away
