It's good for any player to get input from other coaches, especially someone like Wane and it will hopefully help take TJ to the next level.

I’ll partially bite though. Tell me why the coaching staff should have to explain to 17 experienced and highly paid professionals how to do such a basic part of their jobs?

OK I'm biased and would say he's the best winger in SL. Him and Makinson to start for me, but why would I not be surprised if McGilvray or even Handley get the nod ahead of Tom.

I think it’s crucial that TJ plays as many games as possible this season, the difference with TJ is he will get forgotten far sooner than players from big clubs.

I think wane will have his favourites like sam tomkins at full back but i also think he will pick players on form and fitness so if tom keeps scoring and stays fit that number 2 jersey is his

The problem is its hard for a winger to switch sides.
So mcGilivray gets a better chance on the right as he has less competition.
TJ is competing with Makinson and Handley so has a tough position to fill.

I think TJ will be in the squad but I suspect that unless J is on blistering form for us he won't make the first game. His chance will come with the failure of others, which in England's case is a foregone conclusion.

Don't think Handley is a threat, a decent player but not in TJ's class IMHO.

Believe me wane will pick players who he thinks can do a job and he will expect them to do that job and if they can’t they won’t play, he simply hates losing

Funny because it never seemed to bother him as a player. That's not a dig at you, just funny how he expects more from others than he ever gave himself. As a player he had a few good seasons at best, never impressed me.

I'd go as far as saying he had just one stand out game.

They played him on the left for England but he plays right for Sts.
Seems like a good fit for TJ then as TM is the only one who can touch him in attack.
