Easy to defend against a side who has no idea how to attack. Crash balls or kick over to Johnstone. With the amount of ball we had that should have been 2points.

I just saw a team save a try on the line and keep the top of the league out for 3 sets when the game was gone. I'm pleased with that.

Plenty of those players getting back to fitness and should have been blowing at the end. We were a couple of errors and decisions away from a win.
Loads of positives there.

And harder to defend when you have French, Gildart and Hastings running at you.

Can't fault the effort and endeavour tonight but it's another disappointing defeat after leading by 12 and having all that play in the second half. We need more, much much more when we're attacking, too slow, too predictable and too easy to defend against. Having said all that, we didn't get the 50 / 50 calls from Child and the video ref and on another day we'd have just shaded it.

I thought sending the Johnstone knock back to Tupou up to the VR as no try was incorrect. That could have got us back to 18 -18

Miller had a superb game. Absolutely silenced the critics. We have half a decent side. Unfortunately, we are a few rungs down in playing capability from 2018 and the rest have gone up

I agree with that Charlie, I was referring to the Tupou try not given for a knock on and the one where the Wigan guy knocked on under the sticks. There's a 12 point swing there.

Well played Trin, good effort, they gave it their best shot.

Of course we lost but it was a better performance from previous weeks against a in form top of the league side, I’d change the full back for the next game but if and it’s a big if we give the same team effort in all the games for the rest of the season we give ourselves a chance of a bit of pride.

Can't believe some of these knockers tonight we played and tackled really well against probably the best team in super league. I'm beginning to think that some of the dumbos on here should start supporting a different club. If we won two grand finals and a challenge cup we'd still be crap to some. All I can say is keep your season ticket money in your pocket and bugger off you make me want to puke. Why? I think Chester's time is up, this result hasnt changed my mind on that. It was an improved performance, but still massively short in all aspects of the game. Johnstone and Miller were standouts though. That trysaver from Johnson at the end was fantastic and just what we have come to expect from him
