Leaving Jowitt, Hampshire, Croft, Atkins, Tupou, Miller unless we play a forward or if other Walker or a kid is ready.

Our priority is scrum half not a winger ,put young croft in at centre

Dear god our priority is sorting the forwards out and getting them running hard and straight and making ground and getting on top and getting us some field position only then will our backs do something

Given Chester specifically mentioned Walker in his post match interview at the weekend then you’d have to think he’s fit and available. If so did we really need to bring someone in? Kay will be back next week, Lyne the week after and Johnstone a possibility for then too. I’m sure we could have got by this week and saved the wage. Walker, Hampshire, Atkins, Croft, Tupou, Jowitt, Miller. Theres a 1-7 right there that would work fine for this week. I’ll be pretty annoyed if one of our young lads gets left out for him.

If any of those aren’t fit then i reserve the right to withdraw that statement!

Why so enraged ? The senior twins are good players and will have a great future in the game.

A quality player who is both strong and quick and yes, I would be delighted if we signed him full time as he clearly has a big future......BUT, what is the point bringing him in on a months loan this season ???
We have young kids like Croft, Bailey, Aydin etc chomping at the bit who will continue to miss out and likely become disheartened at constantly being left out at the expense of pointless temporary loanees like this one. Not surprised FT is annoyed !!!!

Ditto. You have to wonder if we are not going to back our own when faced with a situation like this when are we? For the sake of one or two weeks it seems a pointless signing when we have lads like your young 'un, Jack Croft and Connor Bailey waiting for a chance. Seems at times the clubs commitment to it's youth is just soundbites.

As young as he is (20?) I would class him as an experienced Super League player. He irritates the hell out of me because he generally looks decent when I see Shudds on the TV. Maybe Shudds need him to get some game time and Ken Davey is footing the bill? Lets see how the next few games pan out before we start sobbing.

They might have a good future in the game but it won't be for this club, as an outsider it's not your fault you don't understand why as you put the poster you responded to is so enraged.

He’s played 26 Super league games and scored 8 tries. He’s not cup tied he’s big tall strong and fast.

Frankly I wouldn’t lend your whinging lot ‘Jack Shit’ but he’ll put a whole lot more effort in for you than some of your current lot did against Catalans.

Just don’t ‘slag’ the lad off too much he’s a good young player and will give you 110%

We are so down on numbers that even if Senior plays we'll still be playing Croft.

I see the back line now as

1 Hampshire
2 Senior
3 Atkins
4 Croft
5 Tupou
6 Miller
7 Jowitt

I don't think we have anyone else who could reasonably fill the wing spot with the list we have out.

I do understand where you’re coming from but I honestly don’t think your boy or any of them are ready. Not more than a few first team games between them. I know Senior is hardly a seasoned pro but if you’re honest he’s still a fair way ahead.

Don’t get me wrong, if we looked half decent and we were not knee deep in injuries I’d welcome the youngsters getting a run. However at the moment it’s probably a good thing they don’t even if it doesn’t seem like it.

I hope the above is how CC sees it, sadly I can’t quite get the thought that he’s in panic mode out of my head. As I say I’m convinced it’s not the right time to blood youngsters, I’m less convinced that this lad is quite what we need.

We will see soon enough.
