| He’s mugging us. That stupid high ball when we were just a try behind. We needed pressure we needed possession we needed a cool head. His decision making is dreadful, at least Finn for all his faults organised the team.
Drop Brough, pay Hampshire what he wants and move him to HB and Jowitt into FB.

Great player in his day but not now, injuries or not.

| I totally disagree with the opening post. I thought Brough did his job tonight and his kicks terrorised their winger. Ok that kick across was not the best. Howver if you compare that to the numerous crap that Miller produced, I know who I woild like to see the back of.
I thought we tried but are just clueless as a unit, no leadership from our captain and not tactics from our coach. Bin Miller and Chester and things will rapidly improve

| Agree with the OP. Get Chester out and Brough. Brough is dragging the club down. Miller had good partnerships with Finn & Hampshire. Now he looks third rate with brough. Brought in for his kicking game? Did he leave it at hudds? Out on full, kicks dead for 7 tackle sets, easy goal kicks missed any 40/20's? a few high bombs big deal. He's here for a pension end of. Also Why are these has been players getting an easy 2 year deal at wakey instead of 1 with another year option? Jowitt full back Hampshire, miller halves. Send this selfish waster to featherstone.

| Have to agree that Brough has caused more problems than he’s solved by being here. Miller is a shadow of the player of previous seasons ... in fact the whole team looks far more disjointed.

Think you're being a bit harsh there Trin77...Broughy's kicks tonight were what kept us in the game...it was just a shame that we didn't know how to capitalise on them. I admit, in recent weeks he has been poor (Shudds excepted), but he was definitely our best player tonight.

| With regard to brough, we knew the risk when we signed him, at his best he is/was, all that we needed, however, his age with injuries especially as old war horse injuries, wear & tear stack up means we knew or should have known @ 38 - 39 & 40 next year, to expect a full season of all games was never going to happen, huddersfield knew it, we paid our money & took our chance, now its not worked, we haven't the bottle to change things !
I am not against brough, but ask your self & be honest to your self, @ 38, did you expect two seasons = 54 games that going up to 40, that he would be able to perform at top draw level ? I don't know of any other SL club that would & certainly no NRL club would ?
Because we cannot change things, it's going to get very embarrassing with other onlookers laughing !

| Brough was our best player tonight hahahaha. He kicked the ball out on the full twice but that said his kicks generally gave us a few chances to score and he scored himself. Bizarre to pick him out.

| Brough and miller simply can’t play together, it’s as simple as that. He may have the best kicking game in RL but his general in play ball handling skills are way off. He needs to release the ball to miller a lot later and draw defenders in, they are simply sliding along and nullifying the threat.

Brough along with tanginoa and koppy were are best players tonight
Hampshire was awful tonight
His specialist play is to run side ways until he has run out of options then tackles himself

No, it's the entire spine who have consistently failed to live up to their own expectations. Added to that a slow and immobile pack, and a set of backs who look like they have no idea how to defend, and you end up with a complete mess

| Oh hang on you lot wanted him I said when we signed him his legs have gone, he simply can’t do what he used to do but he’s the final piece of the jigsaw to get us to Wembley or the play offs but never mind he’s here next year with the rest of dads army we’ve signed

Great player in his day but not now, injuries or not.'" at the end of last season rocky and miller were developing as a partnership we finished 5th and we’re playing some decent stuff. We tried to fix something that wasn’t broken and yes there kicking games needed a bit of development but it was fine. Anything less than 5th is now failure or going backwards. Brough as been good but we need some pace and as for miller I don’t know what the hells up with him all I can think of is Brough is just too dominant
