As always Gaskill will be the one to watch. Real classy player on his day. One of many stick insects turning out for Shudds these days.

That is a strong team, if that's what we field then no excuse for a poor performance. Shaping up to be a dry day so hoping for a good game and a trin win.

Looks like a very competitive squad and one that if things click into place should have enough to see off Huddersfield, who I’m sure will be seeing this as a targeted game also, should be a cracker with us coming away with a win

Shudds have been awful - but they have pretty much their first choice squad available, so could be tougher than we expect, given our recent form.

I don't care about the quality of the game - we just need a win - by any means possible...

No real excuses now, that team is more than good enough to see off Huddersfield with something to spare.

That is not too bad a Giant's squad as well.

Could be every bit as close at the previous 2 meetings this season.

Delighted to see Toupu back in the squad and although it would be wrong to expect too much in his first game back, after such a long absence, his presence should give the whole side a lift and assuming MCB will be playing outside him, there is some definite strike there.
Caton Brown is quicker than anything that Shudds have to offer.
Ball control, ball control and ball control and completing sets is the thing that will win the game.
We've enough up front to match them, enough pace in the three quarters and enough guile in the halves (plus Rocky).
Rack up the completed sets and the score should take care of itself.

Anyone who thinks this should be a walk in the park is nuts.
Even when we're playing well with a full turn out, the potential for failure is very real.
Shudds are rocks and diamonds and we've been.."improving", so its right up in the air.
Its a big game psychologically, not do or die but it feels like a possible tipping point for both clubs.

They were exceptional at magic weekend and were pretty good at Cas and probably deserved the win to be fair. Got hammered at saints (most have) then will have been disappointed last week but they aren't a bad side at all.

So with the exception of Ashurst and Arona that’s a full strength team!

I know Tom Johnstone’s not there but MCB is hardly a makeweight in the try scoring stakes

And, going on a like for like basis, Crowther for Arona and Tanginoa for Ashurst aren't bad replacements either

id imagine ferguson or mcgillvary wont play, fergy pulled out last week last min and mcgillvary has been out a few weeks with knee injury.. may be a week or two too soon but no doubt he will want to play with his pal leroy cudjoe.

Could be a top game this. Its a pity it's not the SKY game instead of Wire v Saints as according to the Wire board neither team are bothered about winning that one!

What exactly was wrong with the conditions at Salford & Warrington? They were perfect, not too hot, not windy, firm underfoot. In fact apart from HKR & the Leeds game, the conditions in most games have been totally acceptable for an attacking fast team......

Think some of above posters have been watching different teams this year. Huddersfield are a good side with a brilliantly well organised defense that we never looked like breaking down last time they visited BV. Fafitas two individual efforts were the difference and it was fair to say that the best side lost. Our defense has been dreadful and our game plan and tactics have been pathetic. I would suggest that Hudds are better organised, are in better form and should be favorites. Sky Bet have them at +6 and I would suggest that non Trinity fans would look at that and think easy money. I wont be having a bet as I am hoping that the coaching staff having at last confirmed that we are in a relegation battle have instructed the team to get back to basics, to play simple mistake free rugby.

The best side certainly didn't lose when we played them at there place, the first half defensive performance was probably the poorest I have ever seen from any side, including the amateur games I have seen throughout the years, and that really is not an exaggeration! Granted in true Wakefield style, we let them back into the game in the second half although they did seem to start playing then.

Your talking about Hudds like they are far superior when in actual fact they have been just as poor as us in recent months, If we do not come away with 2 points I will be disappointed, especially looking at the fixture list going into the last 9 games, if we cant talk about beating Hudds then we really are in threat of relegation.
