Another Friday evening kick off and another winnable game.
Wigan managed to throw away a 20 point lead against a second string Cas side last week and if Trinity defend as they have for the last few weeks, this is definitely a winnable game, which would cement our top 4 standing.
Wigan are capable of hurting any opposition but our forwards can hopefully get the boys on the front foot and carry us to victory.
We could see the return to BV of Tautai and Sammut.
Brough and Miller should edge the HB battle and it would be great to see BJB score a couple.

This is one game that worries me a bit. We have been mullering Wigan at BV for a while now, you fear it can't go on forever.

Form would suggest that we should win this at a canter - Wigan look absolutely hopeless; but they do have some individual talent that can exploit our injury-induced weaknesses - and we do have the habit of confounding expectations, in either direction.

I'd love to do them though - just to compound the misery, and secure our league standing.

Sammut won't be back, knee's gone, dreading the news on Manfredi, rumour control on our page says it's the worst possible news and somehow rumour control always seems to be right. Greenwood picked up another concussion injury which is worrying after he had 3 weeks off the last time it happened.

That looked nasty for Sammut, so not a surprise that he'll be sitting this one out. Seemed a bit innocuous at the time, but his reaction said it all.

I can't see another 62-0 - since we've lost our lethal edge, we'll settle for 40.

To be fair, we only realised Wigan were understrength when Wane explained there had been a cholera outbreak in the Irwell delta and also his entire back line had had a leg amputated - otherwise they would have won.

Doesn't really matter what wigan team turns up, if we're not focused and well prepared they'll turn us over.

I think this is a bit of a free hit game - not must win for top 5 but would be great to get it and move further way from the 6th placed side.

I watched the cas vs wigan game and I really feel we are going to be badly exploited badly down Arndell and Jowett's side - BJB defence isn't much better I think they will score over 20 points
our attack has not got that many points in it

If we didn’t already know we do now - you don’t watch Trin games - Lyne and BJB have been amber exceptional defensive partnership this year bar the London game but they were all bad in that one.

As for the defence in general - its much improved down Max & Joe's side - and there's nothing wrong with BJB's defence either.
And its "Arundel"......

It'll be a tough game against Wigan and ironically they'll be coming as a must win for them rather than a 'gimme' as they usually think it is.

We'll have to be on our game. Their backs are good and could hurt a team with our left side changes.

'badly exploited badly' is that such a bad thing, if you are going to be badly exploited and it's going to be done badly surely that's a plus for whoever we have on the left.

How often are you injured?

I would like us to run onto the ball from a few yards out further. I think Ashurst did it once and nearly scored in the second half.

Have you ever thought of a coaching role?

I would think that there will be more injuries nowadays and with the players being fitter, faster and more powerful, plus having 10 metres (instead of 6 yards) to hit the opposition, the impacts will be higher.
This is off set with better conditioning and medical treatment but, you would expect more injuries.

The really weird thing is sides starting the season with long injury lists, Hull seem to be in this situation every season and Cas also seemed to have a lot of injuries early on (and still have).

Wigan seem prone to bouts of flu and food poisoning when they play Trinity but, this seems to be limited just to them and only when they lose



Finally, factor in your age, which means that you will more readily remember the good times

I like Castleford's idea of sitting all the injured players together in the stand so Sky cameras can give regular checks for headcounts and stuff.
