Just because in an interview you say with no disrespect it then permits you to say what you should not - then that does not entitle you to exercise disrespect by encouraging actions on that point of view, in fact it's carrying out the undermining he is intending & promoting !

It's only a small number of clubs that have won the GF so he could asked that question to most of Super League.

As a whole if SL is to flourish, all the club's need to be strong, not just the top 4 or 5, after all that's the name of the competition, Super League, not Super Top 4 or 5?

It's also undermining during matches to keep saying hot property rather than giving the accolades he & the club deserves, if he was at another club they would not use the constant barage of not property but Dave about him & the club, all I would like is parity !

Didn't see it. If he implied a move to another SL club as a means for TJ to improve himself, that would be disrespectful. If he meant the NRL then that's maybe more acceptable and could even be construed as a compliment.

He's a reporter and should ask questions like that. If Sky keep asking then they are trying to force the answer they want which would be too much.

Did he say, 'with all due respect to Wakefield?' Just sounds patronising, condescending etc. The night before watching the Salford game, there was a similar thing with Jackson Hastings coming back to Salford, when it was intimated he could have basically signed for one of the top clubs, but if remember rightly, it was worded slightly differently.......

I know that TV pundits in football are always talking about players not being good enough, managers who should be sacked and players maybe wanting to move on to bigger and better things but, it's downright disrespectful to Trinity, end of story.
IF Wakefied were a League 1 or Championship club, that line of questioning MAY be appropriate but, this type of question is designed purely to undermine Trinity and potentially unsettle a player and modern cynical world, who knows why he asked the question, especially after Trinity had just mullered the UK's biggest club.

He should have asked the Leeds players if any of them thought they were good enough to get in the Trinity side ??

Some of the Sky pundits still seem to have a condescending attitude towards Trinity, not all of them mind. Some of the comments in the Leeds match you'd have thought it was 2015 again where Leeds were the table toppers and we were the regular basement dwellers.

I think the annoying thing is that Tom has a long term contract - and others like Big Dave do too. I suppose they will get linked, but it was a bit galling that it was the first thing Arthur asked him - especially with the job he does interviewing players!
He should know that Tom is contracted - they all say on Sky how good Tom is and if Arthur doesnt know Tom's situation then he should pack it in.

Also, Chris Chester wasn't happy - the first thing he said to Arthur on the way to speaking with him was "He's going nowhere"

Hope they get the message....... but I doubt it.

To be fair I haven't seen the interview as I don't have Sky and was at the Jungle at the time but what answer did you expect him to give? He was hardly going to say yes I'd love to go to a club that will win some thing.
