Both teams were off the game timings with the ball today, we were the better side in the first half & good for the 2nd half first 20 mins, of one concern was our big forwards lost pace in the final 15 mins, leeds smaller forwards did not lose speed, we moved up defending - but slower & went flat line when with the ball.
However if we can be smarter we can & could beat them.

I'd say Leeds didn't get into the game until the 65 min they look very poor for an expected side to show some class, so much for they hype.

with the time he spent on the floor I was surprised the ref didn't ask the crane driver to lift him off the field so we could get on with the game a bit quicker

It was well worked. Tui called it from the play before and came over to make it work. We could have got the whole squad through the gap that Handley went through. It was a well worked try.

It was the only moment of really quality and conversion we showed though.

Leeds has similar out in numbers or thereabouts and it served exactly the purpose it was intended. To blow some webs off the players and some minutes in.

The last leeds try our defence was stretched and the nail in the coffin was BJB I think shooting in field leaving the wing and a lot of space even a prop would have gone over untouched.

It was pretty even throughout. Thought wakey won the yardage and defence battle but Leeds came through with the smarts at the end with that key word game management.

To be fair to Leeds, I’m not sure our issues inside their 20 were all to do with our lads being rusty. I thought their defence in that area of the park was very good. They looked very shaky down their right flank for the first 20 or so but once JJB came on it stiffened up loads.

In regular season non-televised games they tend to be pretty conservative in what they do and don't show replays of, presumably there are bylaws around that in-season.

do they not have checks as well through the game, motorway rest rooms do, there will be always be some moron throw something in a urinal that will block it, for a simple check can stop a major mess, I can remember a few years back walking to a toilet at Headingley toilets to see a urinal over flowing

Shouldn’t have to put up with low standards, but opening DAY and someONE has possibly messed up. Flaws happen upon the opening of any new ground even if they’re real rookie mistakes. If it was reoccurring low standards like CERTAIN grounds then it’d be more an issue. Let’s be honest you’re on thin ice complaining about low standards and dark ages when you still play at Belle Vue.

Doesn’t sound like you complained on the day to any member of staff and thus ok with other people going into the toilets and having the same problem? Looking at various social media seen many female fans comment on the game and ground and not read one single complaint of this “problem”. You sure you Wakefield lot know how to use toilet roll dispensers and hand dryers properly?
