Quite interesting that if you talk to the RFL they will tell you that referee appointments are alternated throughout the season. Funny that we are now at round 14 (Over half way through the regular season) and haven't had Thaler once?

Interesting also that I have seen all the refs running the line except Thaler and Bentham. I wonder why that is.

A friend of mine told me the RFL have banned him from all our games and due to the long run without him, the evidence seems to back that up.

I`m sure he was referee for Saints at home which was only a few games until the end of the season.

If we can keep our penalties down to a minimum we will give ourselfs every chance to come away with a win from this one. On paper we have a far stronger side than hkr, but it all depends which wakey team turns up, if it’s the one that plays good open rugby we will be far too strong for them. But if they turn up in the wrong frame of mind I still think we will win but we’ll make it a lot harder for ourselfs.

As long as Wakey Ben is video ref you should be ok.

A win for us and a real gap could potentially open up between 8 and 9.

Defeat would mean the margin is cut and if any other sides out of the top 8 win, they also start breathing down our necks too.

On top of that, another defeat would do nothing for team morale

one side will win that are now 9-12 as they play each other -meaning that if we lose the gap will be 2 points 7th - 9th.
