| Not sure he was my MOM,I thought Tupou was a nightmare for Leeds.
However it's all opinion.
What I have to say though is well done that man. From Batley player to MOM in a top 4 SL tussle in less than a year is some going

| I thought Tupou v Watkins was a fantastic battle throughout the game, I really think Bill has kicked on this year.

| I agree Bill really has kicked on, looks to enjoying his rugby. Thought Keegan had a great game and like you say has come a long way in a short space of time

| I think Keegan has been one of the finds of this season. He is a big strong bloke and that is a great advantage to being an RL forward.
He has based his game on his size and strength. He has tried to be nothing fancy and just concentrates on the basics and doing a job in the pack.
I still think we have not seen the best of him yet.

I agree.
He also has an excellent offload game but, the support is not getting there often enough.
Hirst plays very upright and if he gets his arm free, the offload seems "on" most of the time.

| I would like to see us offer Keegan a longer deal that the one year option some have mentioned on other threads. I feel that if his immediate future was assured (lets say 2 years) it would take some pressure off him and allow to him to play to his full potential. He is undoubtedly improving as the season progresses. Well done that man.

| I thought Keegan was MOM away at Salford as well, his work rate, especially in defence was second to none , like what has been mentioned earlier he's really kicking on in SL this season

Unfortunately that young Leeds fullback got the better of Tupou a few times.

| All our props are different in style so it's hard to rate but he in my opinion is prop number 3 in value behind Huby and Fifita.
He has already jumped passed Walker Allgood and England and I like them all too.
New Walker hasn't had chance to prove his case yet of course.

| Keegan is doing a great job for the team, strong, safe carries. Usually takes a few to bring him down. Certainly worth extending his contract.

| Noticed how often he looked for the offload last Saturday. Sometimes there was no backing up there though.

| Maybe a bit early to say but Hirst is better than Walmsley IMO. For starters Walmsley can often be lazy and go missing.

Certainly a bit early to say that. Walmsley is streets ahead at the moment

| I must be watching different Hirst , don't get me wrong he's developing in a positive manner, but hes not done big game time or started on a regular basis where propping is always tuffer with forwards trying to dominate early on, and to compare him to Alex at saints, he's nowhere near, let's just let him tick along nicely, yes he's doing well, and he deserves a new contract but until he's done longer stints I'm not comparing him to the likes of Huby, fifita, England. Who IMO are still our top 3.

| Got to say I think that he is showing up really well, I know a lad who played with him and he thought he didn't have the heart for SL, early impressions suggest otherwise.

| We have some big lads and Keegan is one of them, he has been able to work his way into the team, gathering confidence with every game, rather than being the only big bloke on the team and targeted,so his enthusiasm diminishes?

Give over - Walmsley is one of the best 3 forwards in SL; KH is developing well and will definitely get better, but he's miles behind Walmsley.

I agree some people getting carried away. Can't agree about England though, nowhere near where he was early last year. Thought Allgood looked better. Allgood, Hirst are a threat to England as would Walker have been if not injured.

| IMO Mullally was the best front row forward on the field for either team.
I'd have him back tomorrow

He was pretty good, but I thought the big guys softened us up and he took advantage so my credit would go to the big guys Cuthbertson & Garbutt. Good balance of forwards, TBH, but I think we would have matched them if we'd not lost Big Dave.

| Despite all that's been said on this post about either the Leeds forwards or their hooker winning the game for them, the fact is WE could still have won the game had we been a bit smarter!
Like everyone I hate losing to Leeds and slightly more to 'Cas, but I'm over it. We aren't far behind Leeds and Cas just have to keep working and perhaps recruit a smart playmaker ourselves (not really 'hookers' are they?)
