Leigh are the real deal, fully expect a top 8 finish from them. Great Stadium, hot bed RL area, expect big crowds and great atmosphere. They will be a real asset to SL.

I agree - can seem them getting a top 8 place next season. Will be a lot harder for us next year to get top 8.

Just like Salford aye Belly - you really do talk in over the top clichés at times - they will be lucky not to finish bottom after the usual promising start, same as most new boys..

they are making some good signings and will be very tough to beat at home.
I can see them making the top 8.

They will be a tough team to beat, especially at the LSV.

However, it will be, by the sounds of it a virtually new team and it could a few games for them to gel.

Hopefully, with ours being more settled, and with just a few additions, hopefully we could hit the ground running.

It really is to early to say which sides are top 8, and which are middle 8s yet

Having beaten 3 of the 4 SL sides that were in the qualifiers and that they will be running with a stronger squad, there seems little doubt that they will be at least challenging for a top 8 spot.
Of course the week in week out grind of SL will take it's toll at some point in the season but, I think they will be 8,9,10.

I don't think we can really judge how well they'll do as yet. They seem to be recruiting well so far and signing proven SL players, if that carries on until the start of the season I think they'd be odds on for a top 8 finish. Depending on how well other teams strengthen obviously.

Agreed and one of those teams they beat and finished above were Salford who but for the points deduction were a top 8 team this year. They are improving their squad and still have some to come in and whilst they'll not have it all their own way like recent seasons they will be very competitive and will be there or there abouts the top 8 come round 23.

Everyone will be starting on 0 points, and this is the leveller for most teams

After about 7 games in last year, we were rock bottom with 2 points. To me, this puts into context as to how good our form was at the mid point of the season.

We need a prop, hooker and back rower. If we can recruit in these positions, and recruit well, then we could also be pushing hard again for the 8.
