The pack is very strong and I think could compete with any of the others and the changes to the backs will certainly improve them without quite making them Leeds (or Widnes).

Agreed, all we need now is for Hall to get back to where he was and the backs aren't looking to shabby either.

I am not impressed at all with this signing, granted I live oz so only saw the games that were on sky this year but here is my take of what I did see--- cost us game against st Helens- in the million pound game he gave 2 pens away that gifted Bradford possession and got them back in the game...... AND THE MATCH WINNING TRY - he ran the ball on the last tackle when we were up by 2 with 30 secs left!!!!!!!! he was very lucky that the marker was so lazy otherwise it was going to be a hand over! he is not a organiser and to me is very selfish and good to gave 3 pens away a game.

not to mention when he was over here he could not even get a run in NTH QLD 3rd team and he was shipped out within 6 months!


plenty of other hookers we could of gone for and paid less money.

Would that be be the home game against St Helens, as I don't think the defeat away from home could be down to one man given the scoreline.

If so, Scott Moore wasn't even a Wakefield player when we lost at home to St Helens!!!

He played in neither St Helens games last year so how he can be blamed for either loss is bizarre?!

just about sums Moore up , thought that he gave away a lot more in penalties than he ever gave in attack , average journey man at best and on his performances at trin not even that .

We now have the two most ordinary hookers in superleague - Moore and howarth

Underwhelmed really pleased with most other signings but ....

Moore is better than McFlab, but still doesn't really do much other than coming up with countless brain farts with the odd bit of decent play here and there like in the Bradford match. Oh well, we've recruited well in other areas.

Still think we need another halfback and centre but if funds are limited I'd try and sneak in another halfback. Not confident with Finn/Miller.m

Come on then squire, name us just a few out of the plentiful hookers you know that are available and are better than Moore, and apparently on less money than him assuming you know how much he's earning.

If in your opinion you are not happy with the Finn Miller partnership then that is fair comment, and I understand your desire to want a further better option, but having admitted that funds are now exhausted where do you propose we get another half back from what is better or at the very least as good as what we've got and for very little money.

I also think we are light at half back, and really do need an extra player there.

What happens if Miller or Finn get injured, and miss some of the season.

I said to a mate this morning that whilst our squad is ok, I feel were are a bit quantity over quality in the three quarters and back row especially.

There are a few players we have contracted, for next year but feel their chances will be limited.

I would look at moving some of these on to make room on the salary cap.

My players would be Owen, Lyne and Howarth. I would also say Trout but think he has already gone

I'm not sure which Saints game you mean but Moore wasn't at the club for the home game which we could have won and didn't play in the away game which was lost at kick off anyway. The home game was televised the away game was not so how you saw it I really don't know.

As for all these player movements you claim to be hearing of surprise me as I wouldn't have thought that many Aussie footy fans gave a toss about Wakefield Trinity's local signings - doesn't gossip travel, who'd have thought.

We still have a quota place available and I expect us to fill it,time will tell whether it's a half back, centre or we stick and leave it as a card to play if the right quality of player becomes available during the season.

I suspect that's our reserve ticket, I'd see that as a mid season signing as required FWIW
