So the arriavls we have announced so far are more squad players more than starting players (yes i mean finn too)lwts hope next few annoucments are players who will be atraight into starting line up

One thing I've learned about this chairman is that he's good at playing his cards close to his chest, that said all the players the coach has identified on his wish list may have already been signed and will be announced accordingly when it's appropriate in line with ST sales.
Alternatively due to the poor season we have just had, it could be that the club are having difficulty signing the perceived better players whom the coach wants and things aren't progressing as fast as they would like, whichever it is and it's maybe somewhere in between who knows, one thing I'm sure of though is that until he's ready I doubt we'll have much of a clue, and on that basis it's far easier to put it to the back of yer mind, it's less frustrating.

I'd expect at least 3 of the 4 new signings to be first team regulars.

Maybe the announcement on other players is being delayed like one poster says, is that it's to do with visas.
But they also may want to time them to make the season tickets more attractive as a Christmas present?

It's hard to defend Hall who after a great start went down hill at a rate of knots - just like the team. On occasions it was hard not to despise what appeared to be utter incompetence mixed with a couldn't care less attitude. However finding out that he needs three close season operation including two hernias it does offer some mitigation.

So either he lied about his physical state as I doubt these issues were not there when he signed - or - we have the shoddiest medical checks around. Bit of both I suspect. Probably another lesson MC has had to learn the hard way.

If he gets fit and gets the right attitude he could be useful backup.

Vastman, yet again you state something as fact about not having seen Morris play, you will also remember that I broke the news of his signature. I have seen him play I also know people who have played with and against him. Vasty Morris will do well for us

I've no doubt but way better than the players you mentioned is just a step to far for a player of such little experience.

That said if you're right I'll gladly eat humble pie on this one as I think we agree with that our centre combinations have been very poor.
