Just been into the office at the ground and ticket sales were "manic"!

That's good to hear. Suspect the vast, vast majority of season ticket holders will be buying one and a few of the stay aways. Need to get the place rocking.

According to the Bulls forum they are also buying from Wakey...there 2000 are apparently selling fast this morning.

Been to shop 2 in front of us that also went yesterday sales going steady in the ridings

This could be an issue for us and end up with more Bulls fans there than wakey fans

also no segregation it seems. In such a highly charged game, I can see bother in the North Stand.

Now been announced that the game will be all ticket.

I got told segregation will be on place away fans on western terrace like the last few matches. Tickets selling well in Ridings and the ground everyone is talking about it all the once a year big match lads will be out North Stand will be rocking let's hope the team turn up.

They might not be able to get a ticket if Bulls fans are buying some of our allocation

I would imagine they can buy on line so how can you operate segregation. The Bulls could fill our ground on their own.

How does it work online for more than one ticket? Is it in the barcode you print off or do you need to buy each ticket separately?

We've sold all our allocation of 2000 and are apparently getting another 500 (or 700 depending on who to believe) from your ticket office this afternoon

Loads of Bulls fans are saying on social media that they just bought them from your website because it was easier than queuing at Odsal lol

What's the capacity? Because not only is going to be full, it looks like we might out number you at this rate.

Well I have just bought for three on one ticket.

So that's just one ticket printed off for all 3 persons to share?

You cannot control it if your letting anyone buy on line. I bought my tickets this morning and just print the bar code off so im guessing so will a lot of bulls fans!!

I will be very suprised if Bulls fans don't outnumber Wakey fans tbh. Yesterday was the final straw for a quite a few.

This situation has all the hallmarks to turn into another example of pee poor organisation by the club. We cant control the number of tickets bulls fans buy due to the online option so there should be no chance of segregation being applied because the western terrace is not big enough and trying to force Bulls fans to go on that terrace is likely to cause potential flare ups if its already packed and could be a H&S issue as well.

However, this is Wakefield we are talking about so I fully expect the above to happen and wouldn't be surprised if we sold more tickets than we have room for with someone forgetting to take the online sales into account.

Also as a final insult to some of the long suffering Wakey ST holders there is also the possibility that they may not get a ticket because the club are not ensuring ST holders get first dibs.

Have the club thought this one through.

There were some hassles in the game between the 2 clubs only a few weeks ago and now, in what is a far more important game, it will be difficult, if not impossible to have segregation, which caused 2 major problems.

1 - Crowd safety

The last game was tense, pre kick off and this didn't escalate, primarily because the game was so one sided.
IF Saturday is a closer game and most expect that it will be, there is a major risk of crowd problems.
As we saw a few years ago, it doesn't take too many idiots within a large crowd to cause a problem.

2 - Home advantage

As the home team, we should be looking to take any advantage that we can and if this means the Bulls having the Western Terrace and maybe a corner in the Northstand, then this is what the club should be doing, no ifs, no buts.

I have serious concerns that this just hasn't been thought out and it's important that the club act as early as possible to organise the stewarding properly..

Apparently the Bulls have sold 2000 tickets so far and Wakefield around 1000, don't know how the on line thing works or, where the numbers are counted. so it's sure going to be interesting.

dont know if carter or anyone from the club come on here anymore but the question i have for them if they are, why are the bulls fans aloud to buy tickets stright from our shop, surely they must have been given a certain number.

if someone turns up with the money we cant ask who they support or where they are from and as we are only about 20 mile apart they will take the option to travel and buy
i agree it isnt what we want but as others have said how do we control it
