Can anyone recommend free / cheap parking nearby which is easy to get to and from the ground? I think in previous years people talked about parking at an amateur rugby club, would anyone know the name of it please?

Thanks but it's not really practical. I don't live anywhere near Wakefield. I have to drive to every game from another county. I also have 3 others with me so it is more economical to drive.

At bottom of slip road turn left then after 150 yds (ish) turn left again (there's usually a sign out on match days) then left again (another sign). It's about 15 mins walk from the ground but very easy to get away from. Charge is around £3. We've used it every time. Good to hear you've found it convenient. I've heard similar horror stories about the AJ Bell car park. You'd think the town council would have planned the traffic flow better. But then again what do we know, thanks to Wakefield Council we still don't have a new ground. Look forward to cheering on with you all on Sunday. Safe travels everyone.

We parked on Salford's own car park last season it's enough to put you off for life. I spoke to 'Jack in the Box' on Friday night and he told me of several housing estates just off J11 so we're gonna try there and walk this time. Have to be back to present my Quiz on Sunday night, don't wanna be stuck for an hour like last year.

Ive got to drive there and use the stadium car park due to the father in law having parkinsons,so for obvious reasons I'd need to be as near as possible.Hope you get sorted and all Trin fans come away happy

I'll be away for this one and the two after. I'll be able to get the scores but it will make my holiday if I come back to us looking good.

I fancy Salford to go down. It seems like half their team want away from Marwan, and not many seem to be heading that way, and it sure makes a move easier if you end up in a different division.

It's unimaginable that a Wembley finalist, a team with a sparkling new stadium and high tech pitch or a team with unlimited money could go down instead of lowly unworthy Wakefield Trinity but I just feel like we will do this and upset the rugby world again.
Salford is a massive game for us. It will really put pressure on.
I can't wait.

This may sound daft, but I can see this game being the one that decides who stays up or goes down.
There seems to be a new belief within the Wakefield squad and hopefully Brian Smith can get them fired up. One win and we could be away.... Salford however seem to be a team in freefall. They seem shot to pieces, there are more rumours and counter rumours regarding finaces and player disharmony than there were coming out of Belle Vue, If they lose this, no doubt Dr K will throw the teddy out of the cot, and that may well be the straw that breaks the camels back, so to speak. Interesting times ahead methinks!

it isnt in the rfl's best interest for salford to go down, hence the appointment of child as ref. we have no chance in this game, but will be there to see child give it to salford!
