| I don't believe in conspiracy theories but is very fortuitous that the announcement of the signing of Kevin Locke came at the same time as the news that this is likely to be our last season at Bellevue. The website proudly announces the new signing but no sign of the news that we are giving 6 months notice of leaving this historic ground. Unless this is just Brinkman ship ship on behalf of the club in order to get the BOI to reduce our rent and we definitely intend to sign a new lease I am afraid that MC will not go down in history as the man who signed Kevin Locke but the man who signed the death sentence of a once great club because whatever ground he might have lined up for next season very few of this year's 2000 season ticket holders willbe buying one to travel to another town every other week whatever league we are in

I certainly will be doing. I am not a Bellevue rugby ground supporter. From what I've read, a fairer assessment is that he will go down as the man who ensured a financial agreement that preserved the club and made it sustainable. If what I've read is correct, if we'd stayed at Belle Vue under the current lease, we'd have died anyway.

| I thought notice had to be given rather than pay rent in to next year. Regarding K L he only left Salford officially at the start of the week. One of the contributing factors is because only 2000 s t have been sold. The changes made to the student tickets etc haven't helped the situation and M C must shoulder the blame. At the start of the season many thought the squad looked strong and our first 2 results seemed to strengthen that view. Unfortunately after that things went down hill and people will not turn up and pay 22 quid to watch what was on offer. M Cs had to adopt a different direction and dare I say it attitude, he didn't exactly help the situation with some of his remarks and lack of people skills. For me the ground a massive problem that had to be addressed, we will all know the outcome over the coming weeks/ months. It's not an ideal situation to find the club's in but let's hope things improve.

How many student ticket holders do you think we had?
How much do you think we have lost in revenue as a result of not having student tickets?
I reckon it's f all.

All the club needs is another 2000 like you and we have no problem, sadly I think your last remark could be a more accurate reflection once we the supporters actually find out what the plans are.

| How many people pay for their Sky subscription and say it's too much?
You phone up say you are leaving and they give you a deal to stay on board.
Because they know that some money is better than no money.
Got 6 months to sort it and the ball is in the BOI court.
Let's enjoy what's left of the season, starting with Wednesday!

This is a belter this one! I also love how the OP is now claiming this is 'likely' to be WT last season at Belle Vue... he does not believe in conspiracy theories he says... while single-handedly making his own one up! Classic!

| I have no idea how many student tickets we could have sold. I also have no idea how many stayed away because of the 3 o'clock kick offs, how many stayed away because of the no smoking or e cig ban , or how many would be put off because of the confusion over the plastic drink episode. Not everything in the garden was rosey and situations could and should have been handled better. We all want a successful club to follow and I think we are on the long journey to obtain that. It starts with S L survival and the venue side of things will probably take care of its self once the options are known.

| I would prefer Wakefield Trinity to play somewhere within the Wakefield District (Barnsley?) if it were to leave Belle Vue in 6 months time rather than playing within Leeds. It will be a very sad day for me if Trinity were to leave Belle Vue though....it carries a lot of history.

Think the student ST number was a very low so as to make little difference to income in stopping doing them something around 65 I believe, although it may even have been less than that

I agree I'd go to Leeds to support Trinity but it'd be good if the only professional sports club in Wakefield still played its home games within the Wakefield District rather than moving to the City of Leeds which seems to have all the resources.
Is it preferable to a ground share with Castleford?

'"
No, not ever.
A ground share darn lane or Glasshoughton would be a definite NO, I'd rather watch Dewsbury or Fev.
If we move to Hunslet, or wherever, unless we can maintain or preferably build, our support will continue to dwindle.
The club that we all support is WAKEFIELD Trinity, not LEEDS Trinity and for the club to move away from the district, no
matter what the reasons may be, will be an utter disaster, unless there was ever to be some progress at NM.
Of course, as supporters, we don't know the full details but, this doesn't look good for our club.

| This is just me but I love going to Belle Vue, moving out of town to play somewhere else would make me pick and chose the games I went to...shallow I know but I bet I am not alone.
I imagine the old system with the student ST were abused (I know my 50 year old brother did it 15 years ago) so we might not have had loads of beardy students but we would have had more fans.

NOBODY wants the club to go bust again (apart from a few bitter Cas fans) but moving to another ground is a risk and moving outside the town is a massive risk.
As we have seen this season, Wakefield fans are extremely fickle and when we are not winning, any excuse is enough to keep some fans away.
Already, many folk have said that they may not renew S/T's next season and a move to Hunslet or Barnsley will have a further effect on sales of tickets.
IF this is anything other that a short term plan (until Newmarket gets sorted), I think we are stuffed.
Once the club is outside of town our identity will erode further.
I know that we have been told that the rent at BV was unsustainable but, there has never been a hint of this and surely something so important should be put to the fans before embarking on such a massive gamble ?
