I always think it takes an overseas player at least a season to adjust too many players have been judged too early when they have come to the UK.

Think Salford in general have been well below par perhaps your highest profile signing Chase is your downfall, talented as he is he is a maverick and as we have seen with Cas they are much more balanced and not a one man team, sadly that's how you look at the moment.

With Smith's pass, Sammut will be released at every play.
Godinet is needed at Scrum half to do the hard work Smith won't do.

Sounds good to me, Godinet looks like a player that can play off of smith effectively.

When you signed Smith, most Wakey fans said that it would take half a season for him to "gel" and with the injury to Chase, too much has been expected of the guy.
He did fit in well over here though and hopefully he will do so again.

There is one major issue for you guys though and that is, IF Smith gives Wakefield the spark that they have been missing and IF Bradford get some points back, then surely this is an own goal for Salford.
