| Apart from the dismal display today, another thing that got me down was the lack of protest fom the stands. We seem to be just rolling over and letting this happen. I don't know the terms of Agar's contract but I don't think it is likely that many if any fans on the terraces or on here do either. I want answers from the club. What does it cost to be rid of him? Are you looking at it? If not, WHY THE HELL NOT??!! I think we now need to put pressure on the club with a more vocal and visible prostest. We need some 'Agar out' to be heard at the match. We need some banners. We need to make our feelings felt before its too late, because all I felt today on th pitch and around the whole gound was resignation. I watched Blackpool FC fans pelt the pitch with tennis balls and stop the game to get thei feelings heard tonight on sky. I am NOT suggesting we go that far but I think just walking away depressed and hoping is not the way now. Time to put pressure on fom the terraces fo me. AGAR OUT!

Not one fan I know wants Agar to stay. I am beginning to think based on your other post today talking about the huge improvement in our performance that you have either been drinking heavily today or you are somehow related to Mr Agar.

| It seems to me that the accepted wisdom is, well we can't afford to sack Agar (though I reckon you would get a 75% sack vote if you put it out) so we should just sit here and take it. I don't think we should accept this lying down. As for Pop Tart's belief..well I respect you have a right to your view but I really can't see what you base it on. We were 5% better than the utterly abysmal performance I saw v HKR. Which does not say a lot.

| What I don't understand is that, when you read interviews with players, they all seem to rate RA as a coach! IF that's the case, then why aren't they doing it for him on the pitch? Does seem he's lost the plot somewhere judging by some of the team selections!

He's their mate! Therein lies the problem I suspect. You don't want to argue with your mate but you can ignore what he says when it suits you. It's hard to be the leader, make tough calls, ball cock people when they need it and be ruthless when required when you are all mates. I think this 'great team spirit' they talk about is actually a reflection of the boys club they have become. There is just not enough discipline or fight in that outfit at the moment and the pals club may well be part of it for me. The word is Agar is a nice guy...be that as it may, I'm sorry Richard, nice guy or not, your team is not working as well as it should and you are not motivating them, that is obvious

I am not a rich man but I pledge £100. Only needs a 1000 to do same and maybe RA might take it to have a beach holiday and stop wrecking our club

| Too little too late. Agar out? Be honest who wanted him in? 2 years ago id be irate. Now I'm
past even caring. It sickens me to say it as a 25 year long fan. But I don't enjoy anything about matchday any more and that is down to one man. Agar.
Michael thanks for all you've done but for the sake of WTWRLFC launch this moron whatever it costs before it's too late.

| Lol, alas I am not related to Agar and I think he owes me at the moment for defending him.
But I've not really said I want him to stay.
What I've said is,
1)I don't see a better option for us
2) The reasons people are putting up are not all him
E.g.. there are just as many posts saying he should play the young guys and not play the likes of Washbrook as are saying that tinkering with the side is wrong. Can't both be right.
I don't want a change just because we got beat by Leeds and Cas. Both are better sides than us at the moment. We can build something good at Wakefield and although Agar is not looking great, building rather than reacting is better for us at the moment.
I think we have it in us to do better but confidence is low and it takes time.

I totally agree Charlie, enough is enough and I believe a large percentage would agree with you too. I am sick to the back teeth of the same effortless displays, the same soft tries conceded, the same players picked who've had chance after chance to do something but still do not deliver, the same 8 tries or more conceded every game, the same pathetic tackling. What the hell does this coach do all week? Same old excuses after every game, "we've got some things to fix up this week " Flaming fix 'em up then! The guy talks a helluva good game but my goodness he doesn't know how to win one.

You are right, he will not walk, the protests he will get from Wakey fans will seem like compliments after being at Hull.
If he would just stop dicking around with the team and making excuses, it would be slightly better.
Someone has to take the decision out of his hands.
It's a huge call but one that has to be made.

| I was in despair when we appointed him. I live in the East Riding..I saw the Hull perfomances. I heard the talk..I knew where this would end..I'm sure many of you knew it too. I'm not claiming special status..it just depresses me. For Christ's sake lets rid ousrelves of RICHARD AGAR!

| MC was honest in admitting he had limited rugby knowledge, this is why he brought Kath Hetherington in.
Maybe MC feels a duty of loyalty because KH has come in and done a pretty good job.
Unfortunately the pick of Leeds loan players just about sums up RA's selection policy.
I don't think it's a secret that KH and RA are very good friends.
I hope MC has not backed himself into a corner by over trusting the people who have the 'rugby knowledge'.

A lot of us have said in the past what we could do if we won the lottery without being specific. I reckon the majority would now know exactly what would be the best use of that cash.
You can put me down for £100 anytime.

Sounds like a plan, fans are asked to back the club.
This maybe the way?

| The answer to the OP's post is 'no'.
I remember the Good Friday fixture two years ago.
A depressing night. There were calls for Agar to go even then, albeit from a tiny drunken minority.
I think we'd only won two games by then as well.
Also remember the crowd cheering when Tim Smith was substituted against Warrington.
Indeed, we didn't start to turn things round until the Magic Weekend, when a scruffy victory saw us go on a run until the end of the season where we only lost another 4 games (from memory).
The squad we have this season is not as good as that one and certainly the defence is a concern.
But it is clear that Agar is still trying trying to find the right combinations. I don't necessarily agree with him but he's the coach and will live or die, in coaching terms, by his decisions.
I think in reality, he has until the Bradford game to get it right.
If we can get on something of a roll by then, then we should stay up. If we can't you can protest all you want as far as I'm concerned.
Protests at this stage will not help a team which is already clearly low on confidence.

| The real frustrating thing is that Agar got it right with the team he played against Warrington with the exception of Collis who was out injured that day plus Siejka shouldn't be on the bench as it should be Wildie who is a natural hooker IMO.
Sammut and Godinet at pivots with Tautai at loose forward.
If it wasn't for the crap refereeing we may have won that day.
Why move away from a winning formula?

| Agar has the rest of this season and the next 2 to get things right like it or not he aint going anywhere simple as.If we are to be with Agar then I know money is tight but we should bring a good defensive coach in to work with him as its quite clear to see we have not had a good defensive structure since he came.Even when we went on that 7 game run we let some real soft scores in.I just hope with todays game that he gives the young players a good run out and not just a 5 mins stint as those lads have something to prove not just to turn up and go through the motions like some senior players have and that could just ignite the fire.We should be in the position after todays game that Agar can say right you didn't play and the player that filled in had so good a game you will have to fight your way back in.

| Coaching staff are on easy street, no rugby committee to answer to, no one questioning anything they do. Kath Hethrington may know about contracts and agents and be well connected but knows nothing about the game and knows nothing about a relegation battle. Any idiot can see what`s wrong on the pitch, what`s wrong with selection and what`s wrong with the squad management. I said weeks ago that we needed to highlight games that we had a chance in that we were in a relegation battle, but no the great and the good at the club were talking about top 8, gelling and beating Leeds in the cup ; absolute madness. As a result exactly what I said would happen has happened, best players over played and injured.
