| I must admit when i saw the 17 for Salford i was a bit sceptical of leaving Wildie out as i didn`t think Mcshane would be effective for 80 minutes.
He eliminated that doubt on sunday, Always good to have a pivitol player in there though (Incase injury strikes)

Bradford look to lack a little bit of size in the forwards and I think the bench will ultimately be their undoing. The likes of Lautiti, Tautai and Raleigh all attract numbers to the tackle.

| Providing all players are fit I would have this squad
Mathers
Fox
Collis
Sykes
Lyne
Sammut
Godinet
Anderson
McShane
Raleigh
Ryan
Kirmond
Washbrook
Ali
Walshaw
Smith
Tautai
I would like to have Wildie but I feel if something goes wrong Walshaw can go to Centre and Sykes fill in where ever. He also played strongly and helped our defence.
Tautai was good against Bradford as was Ali lets see the damage they do against tired bulls.
D Smith was strong but Raleigh is a engine and very reliable thus starting.

| With the exception of London, I don't think any other team has repeatedly come along to Wakey as underdogs and wupped our sorry a55e5 more than the Bulls.
Don't know what the bookies are offering but I reckon a Bulls win would be worth a cover bet.

| Quick question. I've heard you guys have the issues with your ground and reduced capacity at the moment. I'm not going to get a chance to get to either ticket office by Thursday and I don't want to drive all the way across to pay on the gate, only to be turned away because you're full with season ticket holder/the tickets you've sold us. Is it worth me just staying in the pub and watching it on Sky or do you reckon I should be ok to get in? Cheers.

He would say that.
Wait till he has to take his pay cut!
Then again, coming to us is hardly a good career move.

| That could be to cover Carvell.
I like Scruton but I also kinda like our pack as it is. It will of course make us better but I don't think we need to be sitting players out at this stage.
Anderson, Raleigh, Smith, Tautai, Moore already

Thursday night, TV game, two poor sides! Don't think we'll be anywhere near the 5333 maximum. Come along and watch your team give us our usual stuffing.

I hope that after a promising game at Salford, we should be getting plenty of support.
Although Wakey fans are known to be a bit tight and stay away when we are on Sky, 2000 S/T holders, plus walk ups and some Bulls, should see us near the new capacity.
We've had an alleged average of 8000 for the last couple of seasons and even though the cheap tickets have gone, we should still be aiming for 6500-7000 for our home games (capacity permitting)

indeed the game should respect that... it would be great top create a brand (in the game and in the club) that promotes and rewards loyalty!

| Robbie paul praised the way we approached and handled the sammut deal in a professional manner on the SL show, which is good to hear.
also of note is the earlier comment about the bulls apparent lack of size in the pack. they seemed to fade at the end against cas, so this could be where we target them. although I would like to be a lot of points up going into the final quarter....

Jeez sometimes you can be a downer. How are we a poor side? Un-proven I'll give you and probably not the best prepared team in SL but in what way are we "poor"?
Give it a rest, I'm not rose tinted and survival remains the name of the game but some guarded optimism and support for the lads would be nice - you know you want to

| the bulls faded because they coughed up the ball on tackles 1&2 a lot n the second half.
Our forwards dominated basically because it was us making all the hit up's.
If you can put your kicks in the right areas and get into their forwards you'll win this in the last quarter like we did.
Cas were in second gear and still, eventually, put 36 points on them.
A lot of ther fans said they've fitness issues but, they made 80(ish) tackles more than Cas so I don't think that's entirely true.
They're heavily reliant on Diskin making their metres with a scoot and fast play early on in the count, and their forwards building the set from there.
I don't rate Manukafoa - think for his size and pace he should win more impacts than he does. Against Cas he nearly always hit the floor on his back. I like watching him when Bradford are on but in the second half of last year realised his "impact" wasn't anywhere near as what his size and speed suggest it could be.
WTW 29-16 BB
......saw the trailer last night.
OT, what do you lads and ladies think to your away kit? It might be my Gok Wan coming out (steady, steady) but I don't like the majority of kits this year, your away one looks a bit tacky to me. I think it's cause of all the sponsors not matching the colour scheme
